I have the same problem on my 2008 Audi A6 over and over again P0088 then driving Home in Limp Mode , ordered the FUEL RAIL HIGH PRESSURE SENSOR, EGR VALVE & new glow plugs on eBay . Get my Mechanic to fit it and hope the Problem will be gone !!
If ur located in Mumbai, bring the car to us for a check... Does it happen constantly or only under load or at idle... There are a number of reasons why it could trip this error.
I have the same error coming, but its not getting solved even after changing the DRV Valve. My error goes off when I stop and start the car and also the error is coming at the speed of around 40kmph
I have 2010 skoda Laura Diesel type 2 and I am getting P0088 Fuel Rail Pressure too high error while driving its stretch self while starting car and I have replaced entire Rail with both the sensor from the working Laura and Changed the High Pressure pump DRV but still getting same error while riding.Please help me hear to find the problem. I am getting P0087 (Rail pressure too low) in skoda Laura 2010 model to fix this error I have installed drv of the old running car jetta and after installing it did not starting and When I replace other DRV(Hyundai DRV socket I have shouldered manually) it's starting with little stretch.Plz help here Thanks in Advance !
There is no error coming after replace other DRV(Hyundai DRV socket I have shouldered manually ), so if I will install new DRV it will get fixed? While Installing drv do we need to set Degree ?
Hi, my skoda laura is doing this same exact thing, intermittent starting issues and when it’s started, everything runs fine except the limp and check light is still there. I have vcds with me. Please drop me your number would be great to have a chat!
@@amnesialen no. Any parts not changed. But once injector and rail was removed to change the tappet cover packing 2 years ego.and little bit of moisture on diesel pipe of secondary electric fuel pump. No issue related to pickup.

Any thoughts on P0087 skoda laura 2.0 tdi l&k car fails to start some time but once started , everything goes fine. What could be the possible causes.
It could be a few different things that could cause this code... Where ru located?
Tried cleaning fuel pump and injectors but doesn't solve issue. Also replaced starter relay but no luck.

is it fix bro if not then reverify the part number from the original with the replaced one, the part numbers are very important in VW engines
My 3.0 crd is doing this intermittently. You think its same problem?
Does it happen only when under load.
Same issue i m also facing in 2.0 AT Laura ,it's intermittently coming and pickup also getting reduce
If i stop and start it wil go off for few mins and again it appears and did scanning and erased error again appearing
There could be different causes to this problem, it will have to checked to nail the problem.

Some more checks need to be done.. If ur located in Mumbai, u can bring the car to us.

What other errors are stored on the ECU?

My 2.0 tdi laura shows dtc P1065 fuel pressure regulation - regulation discrepancy. What can be reason im from jaipur.

Did the error suddenly trip out of nowhere or is it an on and off situation that happens only during certain driving loads.
@@amnesialen I don't know this but this is the only dtc in my car. No pickup issue. Thank can we do in this any sensor or wiring.
So erase the error and see if it comes back or doesn't erase at all.
