Thanks very much for the details ont Y-Pipe swap. I am now replacing the y-Pipe on my M998 as it is rusted out and I am doing a tranny swap also. Got it down to the three bolts on the pass side. How the heck to you get a wrench on the back side of the exhaust manifold? The starter is in the way on the bottom. There is a heat shield on the outer side. and there is another heat shield above the manifold. I can see the bolts, but I cannot get a wench on any of them!

I honestly don’t remember how I got them on mine. But I want to say I either used a crowfoot or possible loosened the heat shield So I could move it.
