Love this holiday overlay! Fun Fact: Next time you visit the ride, look out for the hidden Mickey on the stained glass ceiling of the stretching room. During the pre-show, it twinkles when the narrator says “not even a mouse” 😃✨
Wow. Some of the detail and thought Disney puts into their attractions is just unmatched.
Probably the best fun fact I’ve read all year. One of those details I’ll always notice!! Just like the shooting star in POTC in the blue bayou. And to think it’s been there and I didn’t notice til your comment. When was it added?

As someone who goes to disneyland almost weekly, i can say this ride is way better in person. Its impossible to see the walls and has a strange scent that makes it feel like you are really outside on the last scene! Not to mention that the gingerbread house in the dining room scene can actually be smelt from the seats, and Oh Boy does it smell nice!

I wish Nightmare Before Christmas could get its own ride instead of overlaying the Haunted Mansion. I’m not saying this is a bad version of the ride but still
But where are they gonna build the ride at?
It’s perfect simply as an overlay, being nightmare is solely a holiday film and would look out-of-place having it’s own attraction themed to Halloween and Christmas year-round.
If they do it’s probably gonna be another shitty low quality cash grab like web slingers

yeah they did! it used to be a little zero that would fly around and change them, but idk why they changed them. it looks pretty bad
@@animatroniccrazy5460 I agree. Also, the clock on the front of the Mansion has been turned off (not moving and not lit up). Very odd!
When me and mom went about two weeks after this the clock was working and zero was seen going around the portraits like normal on my visit. We waited in that area for a while since there was a massive line, but it was on for us. Maybe they couldn't get the effects up and running in time.
If only they played that creepy music box in the queue for the normal mansion as well!
The Holiday overlay will be in place until the 30th of January this year which is pretty rare for the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland as it's usually finishing before that
They definitely cheaped out on the portrait hallway this year
@LMG Vids I had noticed that the stretching room sequence was filmed when the video was posted, but now it has been skipped entirely. Can we get it restored or kept in the next video?
