Great Tips but using the 'Standard' or 'Normal' steering setting, you're not totally in control of your steering as the game Assists you by helping to catch the counter steer etc.....Like having Training Wheels on the car !! You should always use 'Simulation' steering setting as this gives the player Full Control over the steering and doesn't assist the player at-all.....Therefore you'll learn to be a better driver, building your skills and abilities whilst giving you Pride and Satisfaction after pulling-off your drift manoeuvres as you know it was ALL YOU without the game aiding you at-all !! Just thought I'd mention this as I've noticed a lot of people don't/didn't know this, thinking they've become Drift Masters by using any other setting but Simulation for their steering setting, when really it's the game that's actually playing half of it for them, taking away half the fun while they watch it drift around corners.....There's no Fun, Satisfaction or Skill in that !! !! Keep On Driving People.....Enjoy !!
Yeah I turned off all the assists tcs, abs, stability control, and put simulation steering when I first got the game. I used those settings in gran turismo when I used to play ps4 so I'm used to it. It definitely not only helps you drift better, but race better if you turn off all the assists.
@@jaxx1360 Nice One, Same here and you're right, it definitely does help to make to you an all-round better driver, I just wish more people would put-in the time and effort to push themselves and learn how to drive with those settings as they'll end-up enjoying and appreciating the games a lot more as the Developers are refining the real-world physics in racing games more and more these days !! But.....Each to their own.....If we all liked the same things, then the world would be a very boring place !!

I wish I was more of a car person I didn’t understand a word this dude said and I still don’t know how to drift been placing 12th in every race anybody have a more simpler explanation?
I am one or the weirdoes that couldn't care less about drifting whatsoever, but I know I need to learn it to get through some parts of the game. But I can't figure it out no matter what I do. **I have done hours of drifting in real life with great success**, and I can drift in all other racing games. But it never works for me in any of the Forza Horizon games. I know all the techniques and theories, but it never works. My e-brake stops the car completely, clutch-kicking just spins the car around, etc. Drive me bonkers! That being said, I am on a PC using a steering wheel, pedals, and shifter, and I have read from many sources that my set-up makes it nearly impossible to drift in this game, whereas using a controller makes it very simple. Maybe I should try using a controller just for drifting. Maybe some day. I just don't care about drifting in a game when I have done it so much in real life, I guess.
@@TheTallTurtle I will say having now played the game its now possible given the right car to hold drifts in 2nd or 3rd. This was not something I coulddo in fh4. Practice my dude! :)
I’m just here because I want to learn how to get a stable drift to easily tandem with friends
POV: You don’t have a job and only currently have 330 dollars in the bank since you just bought new shirts and sweatshirts for winter and you also pay monthly for a gym membership, but you really want Forza 5. You also want 2 pairs of new gym shorts from RawGear and they are like $35 each. You also pay for your own gas. So you just can’t but Forza 5.😭 My life
Hope your able to get the game eventually lol
hey can i copy the tune u have on your supra and what car it is if that’s okay
Never forget tomcat did tune vids but used other people’s tunes
Baby says what
His tunes are kinda wack 🤣
What? Care to elaborate on that?
@@TC9700Gaming I recall some time during 4 peeps noted you did “best tune” vids using other people’s tunes. That’s neither here nor their now.
So do you drift with the brake or just the joy-stick
That's the Scandinavian Flick.
Good ol scandy flick XD
How do you make the car drag to get drift and not e brake? Do you have to have manual with clutch in order to do that?
This is probably the easiest game to drift in I've ever played. I've played Nfs heat, gta 5, nfs payback, carx drift racing, gt sport, and gt 7. It's insanely easy in this.
I just noticed it says Damage/Tire Wear… but, I’ve never had the tires wear out on me?!?! Didn’t even know that was possible…
I dont have the game yet :(
I wish you had the thing that shows what buttons you're pressing because I can't really get it. I kinda get the theory, but I need help
Great video. Would love to get a hold of your drift tune for the Supra MK4
That definitely going to help me in the future, how bad is the lag on fh5?
Lag? I haven't really experienced any at all tbh :)
On last gen it frame drops in some areas but it’s fine
Well I just tuned a supra so much u can't even go 30 mph without drifting
I haven’t see snow runner is sooooooooo long on this channel
It's only been a couple of days ;) Plus, SR mods have been a little light lately but we're jumping back into it HARD this week so stay tuned!
Back to the best content after giving up on snowrunner
Very nice video. How to disappear other cars in the forza5? I mean i often disturbed by other cars in this came. Thank you very much☺️
Your game volume is too high, please lower volume and raise you voice volume. I really like your vid. I'm a noob to FH5 and Forza. I would like to know if you are using a keyboard. I am using PC and keyboard. So it would help to know. I am going to subscribe to your channel. 2nd question; I noticed you said with a clutch, do you have a vid on how to use these basic methods and what keyboard keys you are using? If not, you should. I like your style though.
Is the supra is rwd or awd or fwd
Is it possible on keyboard? Cause I always seem to lose momentum or power. Also, do you need to apply full throttle the whole time?
I still don't understand do I need to use manual or is automatic fine?
Honestly I haven't drifted good in this game since fh2.
That thumbnail 😍
TC love the vids man keep up the good work
Thanks so much bro!!
Me tryna hear tc
Supra: no
I wish I was more of a car person I didn’t understand a word this dude said and I still don’t know how to drift been placing 12th in every race anybody have a more simpler explanation?
I just don't care about drifting in a game when I have done it so much in real life, I guess.
its impossible without controller and even then its less drifting and feels more like awd drifting if anything unless your on gravel
@@captainminecraftist thank you. I feel less like an idiot now. :) (Especially, again, because I can drift IRL like a boss-in-training.)
@@TheTallTurtle I will say having now played the game its now possible given the right car to hold drifts in 2nd or 3rd. This was not something I coulddo in fh4. I have good luck with the m4 or supra tuned up to 550hp. This gives you good power at speed without giving you a sense of there being no margin for error. Obviously all on controller. Also they have a drift diff if you didnt see that so that might help on cars that dont do it well naturally.
No matter how slow i go my car flys off the road ill go like 15 mph and itll still fly off but when i press the break it just doesnt drift it turns into a regular turn what do i do is it the tuning i dont see how tho its stock so i think this game just hates me i cant even go straight without doing a 180
I am not the best drifter in forza, but this is gonna come in handy really well, great video tc
Wow a drift tutorial came out fast, can’t say I’m angry quite happy actually but I’m not going to afford this game for 4 months soooooo oh well this is great entertainment.
Games pass is the don
I had a deal for 1 month of gamepass for 1$ and 2 months extra. So 1$ for 3 months of forza!
Hi guys need some help!
Been hardcore practicing drifting since I got my first fz5 game and wheel!
Kind of got a hand of driftimg! But thr only issue i have is my hand braking , currently assigned on the pedal shifter (Shift up)
When I do a 360 steering, I cant seem to reach the shift up pedal shifter in time to stop my car from getting out of the race line.
Is there a better place i can map my hand brake on?
Mount your controller stable and Use your controller button or knob as e break
Yay another vid
YUUUUUP!
How do you handbrake with a g29 and shifter? I dont have a handbrake. Am i supposed to be pressing a button somewhere to handbrake?
Either circle/B on the wheel
1969 mustang is gonna be me drift car
Is this possible with the automatic or “semiautomatic” settings?
its so much harder
Manual with clutch is best clutch help a lot (clutch kick)
It is but it's harder because you can't clutch kick
@@TC9700Gaming tbh I don’t even know how to do that with the clutch
Do you know how to use the handbrake on Xbox? I can’t find it in controls or advanced? Please tell me what button it is?
A is the handbreak on my controller. E-break and handbreak is the same thing
Ye I use a too
could you make a drift build for the mazda RX-7 please.
Can you control the amount of throttle in a controller? It kinda sucks to press w on a 1200 ho supra with traction control off.
Obviously haha. That's why nobody plays cars games on keyboard and mouse haha
i had the nissan 2017 gtr in FH4 drifted it amazing with great control at racing/drifting loved it
Do you think manual or automatic would be better to drift in?
manual, you will be able to control how much power you use and which gear you enter corners and turns
can you share the tune code with me for the mark 4 supra you where ripping it in that monster man
NICE VIDEO AND KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK
Thank you so much Parker!!
Where would you recommend in forza 4 to practice drifting
I´m still playing FH3...havn´t touched the Supra that often to be honest! Great Tutorial TC! For sure very helpful!
Tbh. I don´t drive with manual gearbox at all (I´m lazy haha).
Glad you enjoyed it man!!
Im sttuggling on the corner the sharp one that u recimmened help me out
I’m still having a ton of trouble drifting, I’m a PC player, when I turn do I hold the brake(space bar) and try to use the opposite direction? So if I’m going left, I constantly try and go right, and hold W and D ?? Anything helps
Keyboard is gonna struggle cuz you can’t really control how much throttle/brakes you are giving it. On controller or pedals you can press as hard or soft as you want. If you have some controllers I’d recommend plugging them in
keyboard is the worst way to play a racing game, if you're buying an 80 dollar game, why not buy a controller to go along with it so you can actually enjoy it?
@@cressetcreeper2063 I’m having fun without drifting leave me alone man, it was 60$ too.
