- This new update in Forza Horizon 5 brings us a new camera mode made for drifting. The new camera mode does not fixate on the car as much anymore. You can also adjust the drift camera to your liking. Unfortunately no way to stop the camera doing a 360 rotation yet.

For me the drift camera doesnt matter, I usually drift in first person, what would matter is if they added full 920 degrees of hand movement

wouldn’t make sense for controllers or keyboard, hand animations would be insanely fast when turning. Assetto corsa has this problem but there should be an easy work around

OMG! This update is one of the best ones in a while. I am a Forza drifter, so I used to shift the camera with the toggle stick manually, now I don't have to do it. I did hope Forza would make this one day but I was fine with doing it manually too. It's still a helpful and fun update!
I think mid engine or rear engine car can drift but not with a big angle, i drifted gallardo, 488, p1 and 675lt(with controller, i use xbox now, my setup won't works on xbox so im not using my wheels now unless i get new pc)
Btw, if newbies want to tries drifting i suggest just go s14 and make it about 500hp, drift suspension, light weight, sports tire, race trans and drift diff

s14 is crazy on AC mods, didn’t know it was on forza!
@bomhax ye, in ac s14 drives good too, i learned drifting in ac with it then I switched to 3 rotor rx7 fc

I reinstalled the frickin 150Gb again after along time yesterday. After 20 Minutes i remembered, why i have no fun with the FH Games anymore. These Roads. Its worse then i remembered. They are so straight and wide. I litterally stay on gas, sometimes break a bit. Then full on gas again all the time. 250km/h and nothing changes. Every Car just goes to its max speed and thats it. Slower Cars are no fun. Normal Cars are no fun. Tighter and more realistic roads. No Focus on Hypercars and Cars tuned up to 1000HP+ only. And a bit less arcady. It would be a banger.
I will deinstall it again. Its always the same. "It was fun. The sounds are great. Map looks great." And then i feel the roads again and how they dumb down everything.
Yea FH3 map was really good, hopefully next Horizon game will have a more exciting map

The drift cam settings are not new. They are ment for the in car cam and you can adjust how the settings for that. It's been like that since 4 I believe
i just want the old nfs drift camera like in carbon,mw,mw2,hot pursuit,nfs2015, on forza and on other games.its so cool and you dont even have to enable it.amd when you move right stick the camera moves in a really cool motion.the camera in nfs games follow the car in a really artistic way

isetta was genuine skill issue. 1.274 mil after drift change on volcano run for me. thing is a beast just hard to drive

the old good nfs games does the drift camera perfectly it doesnt stay fixated on the car like in forza or stay completely behind with no movement like in car x. it follows the car in a really artistic way and you dont even have to enable it.i hope other games make thier camera like it.and when you move right stick the camera moves in a really cool way in the nfs games

Btw the bmw isetta is one of the best drift car in the game seriously, all my records were made with that car

i did drift build for A class scirocco 81 in FH4 build with same principle as kenblocksohn tunings and my friends loved it we did some crazy scores with that car

My best drift missile in Horizon 5 was Ferrari Portofino with the top down! 😎It's not easy to compete with wheel against controller players, best I ever got was 2nd place in those online drifts :D actually just uninstalled whole game because so used to playing in vr that Horizon lost all interest

The car y’all built drifted good but you should do the same video but with different pro drifter that likes more snappy cars ! I built the exact car, it was just super slow in transition! Please do another one! Same format just different pro or even you do a snappy build!

YOOO, get a X5m FE... Stock, you can race, drift, offroad or whatever you want its the best car in my opinion, and then try it built up if you havent

You should try out the Mercedes benz truck for drift .I get with it 32.000.000 trick point it so much fun with that infinit nm of torque

Every game needs this cam. Should also have full adjustibilty. They don't do it. It's not just for drifting. Gtan Turismo screwed up since gt4.

hey goose i know you are probably not gonna see this but beamng 0.30 offered better drifting physics for keyboard and controller and steering wheel just got a quicker response ratio so u can try it out or make a video (im still waiting on a wheel i ordered so i can send u beamng clips for compilations but for now im drifting on keyboard anc its actually easier)

aye bro, so it definitely doesn't help just using some random persons "drift tune" with whatever car you choose to use. you'd be WAY better off building your own car and drifting it stock tune. no two drivers are the same, i'm sure we agree
