Last week, Liz experienced floatation therapy. Spent the day floating in a tank of salt water. Alone. No lights. No sounds. No Bri.

Hey Liz, when you started sharing about the naked therapy for a second I thought I done something but your description went further than what I had done.
I live in China, I love me some acupuncture and cupping. I went for a massage, it’s a completely naked session but the lady massage therapist massages the whole body boobs included. (Nothing in the downstairs region)
It was such a nice experience, I’m a fuller set person and in China there is a super high standard set to be skinny. Luckily I’m a foreigner here so I only understand bits of when people discuss my body and after 7 years I don’t really care anymore. But that massage just really made me realize, everyone’s bodies are different and I don’t have to hate mine. It was kind of a healing experience. It wasn’t at a fancy spa place. Just a small massage shop close to my apartment.
I think if people open up to “alternative” therapy there might be some good experiences.
I must say I’m with Bian on the bee one. I’m not sure I’ll do that one. It sounds too good to be true. Just a few bee stings to cure it. Sounds like a money trap.
I’m glad the floating therapy you had made you feel so relaxed. That is still on my bucket list.

I've always wanted to try the floating thing, read about it many years ago. After what you said Liz, I definitely have to try it! Since I was a kid, I've always loved getting scratched on the back, not tingled... remember even when lying on my grandma's lap and asking her to scratch my back. Nowadays I ask my children to do it LOL. When it's my birthday, it's the only thing I want

Happy belated birthday Liz!! Another year wiser. I would struggle being in total darkness especially naked and not at home. I leave my mobile phone light on next to me in bed every night. I also have to take a few different medications including a sleeping tablet and pain relief before I can get to sleep. I am normally in too much pain to sleep so taking the edge off gives me a few hours. If I can't sleep I often get so tired I fall asleep standing up and drop to the ground often hurting myself. I'm a bit old fashioned so I get Brian. I think I laughed just as hard when on idea one you told Brian he is a bit stiff. I used to go to day hospice and one time they did laughter therapy. I'm a bit reserved but someone in our group had one of those laughs that make us laugh and she brought out everyones laughter and it did feel good.
Oh, Amy, that is wonderful to know we were able to make you chuckle! I’m sorry to hear you struggle with sleep…I can only imagine how very frustrating that must be, especially when you are desperately tired.
Stay strong lovely lady and keep that chuckle muscle well oiled, I’ll try and convince Brian to go for a naked bee sting therapy and then report back …that should be good for a laugh…😳😂😂🐝
@ItsaDrama I think out of all the therapies, I'd choose the bee sting since I have arthritis. I've had many surgeries over the years, including about six where they have cut be open from just under my breasts to my pubic bone. I also have a massive scar on my stomach from when I had pyroderma gangrenosum and little ones all over the place. My godmother was working at a honey shop and she bought me Manuka honey to put on my scars and it really helped to soften them. I do believe it's used for other medical purposes, so maybe it does help arthritis.

Have you seen the movie "Altered States". They used an isolation tank in the movie. The movie was a bit of an altered state.
Haven't seen it but now I'm intrigued! Might just have to watch that tonight! Thank you for joining us 🥰
@@ItsaDrama As I recall the isolation tank is about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through the movie. I thought it was a pretty interesting film at the time. I hope you find the same.

I am kind of with Brian on the crotch staring .... i really don't want to see everyone elses 'bits' lols. But in saying that, I found the vid very informative and the water therapy sounds great. That is such a nice backdrop. Hello there duo....I think your property has all the healing quantities you'll need. If not drop over to our islands off Tauranga and relax...it is there to share with the public. Mayor Island is our big islands name. Here is an idea. My family from there are now mainly ex English Spanish French and Tahitian but we need to update the books etc already penned but outdated. If you guys are interested in doing a project with me I would be amenable to that. Then you'll have a bonafide reason to be there. My son teaches Drs to be Drs and he heads our trust group. He was the recipient of the history teachers award for greek and Italian history. His girlfriend is (maybe) a doctor too. Ciao intrepid ones. We live in Sydney by the Opera House where my English family arrived in 1843.
