Thank you! I had the same error code of LF on my Maytag, I followed your video, ordered the replacement valve, and then rewatched your video to remove my old valve and install the new one. Works great. I can’t thank you enough
Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy to hear that my video was able to assist you in fixing the error code on your Maytag. Your support means a lot to me!
@@onlineappliancetech Bro your video helped me understand a little about my problem. I bought a Maytag model MVWB765FW2 from a pallet selling place for 100 bucks two of the balancing rods were gone or missing so I re-ordered them put them in try to run a load of clothes through and it kept throwing up unbalanced code in the process of me, taking it apart, though I took out the service manual and I do not know where I put. It I’ve been looking in my spare time for a video or online for another service manual or video to help me fix my problem the interface is exactly the same on my model as the one in this video can you please help me to either reset it or to run the diagnostics if you could email me the service manual for the washer that you have I’m almost 100% certain it would work on mine or if you have the one for my model, I would greatly appreciate it. My email is CMT049595@gmail.com Please help me out thanks man
Thank you very much. Like some others below, I used your video to repair my washer and save a bunch of money. I had already ordered a new washer and dryer before I came across your video. I was able to get the washer fixed and cancel the delivery of the new pair. Thanks again!
Please list the ERROR CODES somewhere so we know what part is defective. Thanks. I cannot get the service manual. Maytag should put this easily accessible.
Thank you for the video you’re so helpful! I was able to fix the machine I was working on however the error code didn’t go away 😕 I’m hoping it’ll do it eventually.
Thank you for the informative video. Sneaky how maytag hid the repair info. I'll try this today. Hopefully I won't have any questions as my model end in FW0.
@@onlineappliancetech Sorry, but this is a long comment with questions and picking your mind and experience. I ran through the diagnostic test codes individually 000-014. I didn't go further as I felt I didn't understand completely if I should as they seemed like verification once the repair was completed. I thought my issue was the same part you replaced in this video. LF code appears when I run the washer but only in rinse cycle, and in service test mode as F8E1, (but F0E3 also came up and I think I remember when that happened when I started a load with wet towels or when something got stuck between the agitator and the tub). Anyway, my issue has appeared on the fill during the rinse. It fills for several minutes, starts the agitation, stops, sits for awhile not doing anything, then flashes the LF code. I'm not seeing any difference in the water coming out during testing, wash, or initial part of the rinse except a little less hot than cold but I thought that might have something to do with water temperature selected. I've checked all the other possible issues but I haven't checked the J2 Valves and Thermistor pinouts yet as before I get to that point I wanted to get your opinion on the pressure hose connection. In your experience how often does that hose have issues? There was some loose scale in the inlet valves as they never installed inlet screens. I sucked it clean with a vacuum, but not sure if there could be more inside the valve housing giving me issues. I cleared the codes and thought I might try running a load and see if I get another LF error code. So, have you ever run into an issue with the errors just needed clearing once other possible reasons have been checked? Anyway, what do you think. Thank you again for your time and all the info you've given us in the video.
Having issues with my unit as well. Hoses are clean, running on a cold cycle. When the unit calls for the cold water it sounds like nothings happening. But if I turn the water OFF and ON at the tap it'll start to properly fill. But I need to do this everytime during the cycle that water is required for it to work. Hopefully a new valve will resolve this issue.
I imagine the answer is no, but do you happen to still have this washer and associated service manual? I can only find the user manual online, which contains no service mode info. The place on my machine where it should be is empty plastic :\
I have the exact washer as in this video but both my hot and cold water are flowing great but I am still getting the LF and f8e1 error. What could it be?
Have a LF error on my maytag bravos XL. Ours is able to run a cycle of clothes and we have water but clothes are sopping wet one the code comes on. I think this valve also stops water flow so im thinking while yours had no water ours is putting too much water in.
It sounds like the water inlet valve may not be fully closing. A good way to test this is to ensure the tub is empty, then come back 12 hours later and check if there is any water in the tub. This will indicate whether there is a continuous drip from the dispenser. Additionally, I recommend placing the unit in service test mode to see if any other error codes correspond to this problem. I hope this advice proves useful!
Works like a charm thanks washer is back to 100%
Thank you for sharing the good news! It’s always a relief when things work as they should. Happy washing!

How do i enter diagnostic mode to display the error code?
I have the exact washer as in this video but both my hot and cold water are flowing great but I am still getting the LF and f8e1 error. What could it be?
It sounds like there might be an issue with your water inlet valves. Just be sure your water supply is turned on.
