@@stanleylawson9015 hey Stanley! what will you do more often? Short rides? Get gt. longer trips - interceptor. But the good thing, made a bad decision, do a conversion. I was thinking about it
@@stanleylawson9015 well I also like extreme stuff, but for a long trip would still choose something more comfortable. I mean int isn’t a long shot bike, but at least the rider position is more relaxed. I suspect more sporty position on the gt may cause back pain after a while
my advice further to this would be push the rebound rubber up to the top, go for a ride, then see how much travel is actually being used, same as tying a cable tie around the fork, i found i was only using about 20mm of travel which explained the hard ride, pointless having suspension travel fhat isnt used
Thanks for good advice! I do find the shocks very hard. It one point, going over a bump, i even though I had a flat tyre and hit it with a rim. The sound was like that
i set mine like yourself and ended up backing off preload until most of travel used on my local very bumpy roads, i backed preload off from 15 out of 30 clicks in to 5 in, seems less is more when it comes to rebound, good luck
I will keep playing with the settings as well, as 1) i don't see any radical change 2) I think it is way to hard. Do you have the same shocks from TEC? How long do you run them for?
Here there, you can buy one here: www.baakmotocyclettes.com/en/parts/2553-under-the-handlebars-mirror the observation of the road is very good! However then downside is that you need down every time, which is tiring after a while
@@Muchahari in my humble opinion, this is the best upgrade I did to the bike. They are nicely wide, good height, good quality, I can definitely recommend! One caution: you may need longer throttle and clutch cables.
That Baak headlight totally transforms the look of the bike
Agreed 👍 totally love it! But… sorting out harness was hard.. will be releasing an episode about it this Saturday
Damn the bike is looking good, another great drop of useful information
Thanks, Stanley! Can’t agree more, those Enfields are damn good looking
@@thesundayrides am still torn between the GT and INt

@@thesundayrides have seen a few guys doing some long trips on the GT from UK to top of Norway

3:40 - Suspension travel - where do you get 8cm from? You said M1 = 38, M2 = 36.5, M3 = 34.5. Cheers
Hello! 8cm is the suspension travel. I don't remember where I got it from, but must have googled or found on manufacturer's website or forums.

Is your tec shocks the standard height or lowered.
Hello! they are standard
Are you still using the Baak handlebars??
Hey! What do you mean ‘still’? They are my favourite! Is there anything better?
I am thinking of buying one for my Interceptor. Hence wanting to ask for a review about those

Thank you buddy. Appreciate your help 😄
