I love this, didn't realise it was a CSS at first thought it was an STO design. Loved it though I'd miss those awesome pulse Phasers of the Defiant class!
But it has 3 Phaser Lances! Surely enough fire power even for you 😜

The entire Confederation series has been awesome and the Defiance class has been the best so far. The Defiant was always an amazing ship. The sharper lines make it look more aggressive but also suit the aerodynamic aspects. The more visible glow from the nacelles give it some added character. My favourite design element are the two flanges at the back, they remind me of the Parliament Class from Lower Decks, which is another favourite. of mine.

I love all the Confederation videos you've done so far, every ship design looks incredible and your storytelling is riveting. I know it must be very hard work making these videos, but it all pays off. Though I'd love to see a timeline of the rise of the Confederation. It would be interesting to see your take on how this future came to be.

How did this alternate universe come to be? Where did it start to go sideways from the prime timeline?

It's not what I expected it to look like (I thought it would logically follow the other Confederate designs by having a main hull that resembles the Defiant with the signature Confederate saucer recesses in ehich the majprity of the added weapons would be, but ypur design is still phenomenal and excellently conveys the faction's penchant for aggressive design, somewhat resembling the sharper feel of the Confederate delta. Well done!
This is a great reinterpretation of the Defiant for the Confederation. Now you have me curious about Military Outpost DS9. I know O'Brien would be there as he's the one that figured out how to make the Defiant work. His chief of security though in this timeline would probably have been Michael Eddington. Also Bashir would be there. As to the others (Dax, Kira, Worf and Odo) that would be harder. If I'd Hazzard a guess maybe Captain Benteen as his first officer. In a bit stumped as to the rest that would be his command staff.
In any event this was a great video.

My thought is about the Holodeck. Why could the rooms be used to increase the volume of people being rescued? Why is that never explored?

@@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics I can dig it; I just want to submit that the Confederation Corps personnel that have been named on-screen so far have had ground/air/space force ranks. Generals Picard, Sisko, & O'Brien; Colonel Rios; and Lieutenant Colonel Yar.
And I submit to you, that the Confederation adopted an amalgamated ranking system, with Colonels replacing Commodore!

Excellent video. the defiance really feels like a fighter! My main complaint is one you cant possibly control, that the borg campaign feels short for such a powerful foe. but that isnt your fault at all

But this is the Borg. 40 years to destroy the borg in every single system of the thousands they assimilated or control? thats a handful of systems taken every single day. probably more with borg counter attacks. Space is huge, even with transwarp you also still need to bring all those ships and replacement parts.
again, to wrap up. 40 years is normally a long war for sure. But the Borg arent like the Klingons, or the Dominion. Even with the Confederations more powerful tech, i dont buy they are "sieze a new system every few hours for 40 years from the Borg" powerful

No it doesn't... As its ships were already far better than their Prime Counterparts!
Are you forgetting that the confederation uses army ranks so rios was a Colonel/ ship captain , so at the time would sisko not be a major
No, the Confederation adopted an amalgamation of ranking systems! Colonel replaced Commodore, hence why Rios was in charge of the battle against the Vulcans... Or did you forget that? Lol

Nahhhh, it's fine as it is... Not everything needs to be crazy "evil" name! Especially since the Confederation doesn't see itself as an oppressor, rather making the Galaxy safe for humanity!

Im sorry, but this little ship destroying a Borg Cube AND Unicomplex? WTF?! Thats BS. Even when Janeway got toys from the future it only got her so far before adaptation. Hearing stories like this make no sense in the reality of the fictional universe created. You just flew outside parameters. I don't buy it and you shouldn't be selling it.

Second, This is in another Universe/ Timeline! So the rules for the Prime Timeline don't apply. This universe has FAR stronger starships, and much better technology at it's disposal. Making your points completely moot.
