Your husband is very lucky
I am lucky and blessed to have him!
You ordered the mailbox cover on-line. Where? This garden is 😍
Hi Donna, I have not been able to find this exact mailbox recently but I do have a similar one that I found here: www.amazon.com/shop/edenmakers?listId=1KZXNJBBQO83Y&ref=idea_share_inf
It looks beautiful but I'm not sure the postman will find the mailbox anymore. At least mine would not. 😂
Haha I think the postman would love to get lost in this mailbox garden! Thanks for watching
Hi Shirley! Hope you and your family are well. Quick question, if you don’t mind. I purchased 2 large absinnian muerelli red leaf banana trees for my husband (excuse the typos) the trees are in about 20 gallon pots (I purchased them at Home Depot in these pots and I plan to leave them in these pots until I can find large ones. I read these are heavy feeders and have no clue what type of fertilizer to buy. Also, will these survive in the pots they came in for a long time? I’m kind of picky, may take me a while to find cool pots. I read conflicting information online and I don’t want to kill these trees😓 can you recommend an affordable fertilizer that is available at the big box stores. I hope I don’t kill these. Thanks so much Shirley, your my favorite on home and family 🌹 I sure hope you have time to steer me in the right direction. The leaves wilted pretty bad, my husband had to clip bottom leaves off. I think the reason may be that they were in the store, to outside. So perhaps they were in distress once I put them outside. Thanks so much Shirley :)
Hi Dena, Congrats on your purchase. As long as you follow the basics of what they need, you will not likely kill them. I wouldn't take too long in planting them but they should be fine until you do. These are very heavy feeders so fertilize with a slow-release pellet fertilizer 4 times annually. I will send you a link with basic care to help you get started. Hope that helps! urbantropicals.com/product/red-leaf-abyssinian-banana-tree-ensete-ventricosum/
I love your bracelet and necklace! Could you tell me the pros & cons of a totem pole cactus? I really want one. I live in Alabama so I would have to order one. Thank you!
Stacy Godfrey thanks for watching and for your compliment!
Totem pole cactus makes a beautiful focal point plant against a wall. I like it because it has smooth skin and a gnarly texture. It has a somewhat bushy profile. On the other hand it is a very slow growing and can be expensive. If you live in a human environment it may not do as well as in a dry climate. I would planted in the container in order to control its environment better. Full sun love her. Good luck with it
EdenMakers Thank you so much for the information. I would definitely have to keep it inside. We have very high humidity here all year long😞. We have gas heat as well. I guess I need to do more research. I may have to admire them in pictures. I absolutely love them, gnarly and all!😊 I so wish I had your green thumb. You definitely have the eye and the touch for growing beautiful plants! Enjoy your Sunday!
@@stacygodfrey4939 Have a great Sunday!! 🥰
so how do you water those flowers and those plants you're showing without getting the leaves wet the previous video you said don't let wet the leaves and the flowers I'm confused
Thanks for watching and for your question. In order to water these container plants in this video you use a hose with a wand to get the water to the roots. The other method Is to set up a drip irrigation tube to the planter.
Do you have a link for the mail box planter?
Hi! I don't have a link for that one specifically, unfortunately. However, here is one that is quite similar: www.amazon.com/shop/edenmakers?listId=1KZXNJBBQO83Y&ref=idea_share_inf
Quarantine doesn’t mean no beautiful flowers
Exactly! Happy gardening and stay safe! 😁
