Anyone have a DF64 dialed in for auto drip? I'm all over the place with it, being used to a tight window for espresso. I've been as coarse as 70 and as fine as 30, just can't get a sweet cup for Southern Weather.
I can't find anything stating the grind sizes of the settings on your grinder. If you have any details, feel free to email. I'd recommend a grind setting between 650-800microns. If you have run the range it could be a water issue.
@@elikaliftee4918 I think you may be right about the water. I've been using R/O in this machine, which is not recommended, so I'll try adding 3rd wave to see if that brings the flavors out. Thanks!
@@elikaliftee4918The Third Wave brightened the flavors and a 55 setting on the DF64 with original burrs seems to be about right. It was asking a lot from an automated drip machine (at 205 degrees) but it worked ok (on Tropical Weather, as well). Thanks!
Elika is my coffee hero
Just thinking " Man I wish they would make a drip brewer video." I have the Breville Precision brewer so this makes me happy. Onyx never disappoints.
This was very helpful
He is mine too, wish they did aeropress guides too!
It's been awhile, I'll be sure that's on the list.
Do you have any tips on grind settings on the OXO Burr Grinder for use with the OXO 8 Cup Coffee Maker?
