When I do the calculations for it I get 8 points for 1/12 serving. Reading the box of the reduced fat honey made a serving is 8 crackers or 2 sheets. When you did the points did you log the crackers whole or individual squares? I'm wondering if I did something wrong.
Hi Julia, I just checked the recipe builder and the graham cracker box to see what I had entered and found out I entered it incorrectly! I entered 24 crackers thinking a sheet was a cracker and didn't realize each sheet is actually 4 crackers! That changes the points quite a bit and actually makes these 9 for 1/12. If you use a whipped topping like the Cool whip brand that is lower in points than the Kroger brand I used (that is the only one I can find here) they would be 8 pts for 1/12. Thank you so much for the comment because I had no idea I had that so wrong! I usually enter things by ounces or grams to be the most accurate and to avoid mistakes like that but I didn't for some reason with the graham crackers. I will pin your comment so other people can see and also change it on the videos. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention and sorry for getting that so wrong!
@@AliciaLynnYT mistakes happens no need to be sorry! I just so happened to be reading the box when I was at the store and noticed how silly it was that they counted the serving as 8 crackers instead of a whole sheet🙄 the dessert still looks delicious and I'm going to try to make it next weekend with my sister in law she's also on the green plan!
@@juliakirchoff Thank you Julia I appreciate it! I try so hard to get my recipes entered as accurately as I can but I really misread that box I guess! I probably should have realized I had something wrong though because 5 points is low as far as desserts go. I should have known it was too good to be true! It is still a great dessert and I think worth the 8 or 9 points though. I hope you and your sister and law enjoy it. Thanks again for letting me know!
@@Gypsy217 That is probably right that 1 sheet is only 2 points but if you put in 2 full sheets or 8 crackers, which is a serving size, it comes in at 5 points. That's WW math for you. I used 22 1/2 sheets which comes in at 56 points. Another way to figure it which I also did, is by grams. I came up with the same result both ways.
Hi, Alicia! That was so nice of your viewer to send that recipe to you. You made it look so easy as always. Don't worry about the pudding being lumpy: sometimes life happens (as happened with my zucchini and egg bake, lol). So glad to hear that your husband liked it, too--and those flowers look beautiful. Your husband has good taste in flowers. Thanks for sharing, Alicia!
Hi Parnell! It was really nice of her to share that recipe with me, it was a good one! And yes, sometimes life happens when we are trying to film and things don't always go smoothly! 😄Thanks, the flowers were beautiful, I had to pan over to them! Lol Thanks as always for watching, my friend!
This recipe has been on our pending folder for too long. We love a good eclair so this recipe is such a great WW adaptation. Instant pudding are not only versatile but one of our favorite things. So easy to put this together too.
Hi, sweet Alicia! Your hubby doing the “Bella shimmy” was so funny. You know when something is good when your body dances. This is my hubby’s favorite cake. His mom always made this for him growing up for his birthday. We still do the tradition to this day. In fact his birthday is coming up soon, so he is already looking forward to it. One thing different, we never put chocolate pudding on top. We have used chocolate icing or I melted chocolate to make a shell like topping. But, I’m loving the pudding idea. Plus the hubby insists I make my own cool whip to fold into the pudding. He hates the taste of the store brands. I will definitely be trying the chocolate pudding on top. Fantastic share and recipe. Happy Friday. Hugs and blessings to you. Have a beautiful day sweetie!🥰❤️❤️🌻🌻
Hi Michelle! 🙋♀️My hubby did a pretty good impersonation of Bella! This was the first I had heard of this dessert but it was so good! I like the sound of the chocolate icing or melted chocolate! The way you do yours sounds really good too! I am not the biggest fan of cool whip myself, I much prefer homemade whipped cream but it is low in WW points so I use it a lot. I hope your weekend is going great sweet friend!🤗💜💛
I can’t wait to try this again using this recipe. I made it for a holiday once but not with WW friendly substitutions. Not one person ate it and I ended up eating the whole thing myself 😳
So I watched this while hungry... Big Mistake!!! Lol I love Jared in your videos! And not to be the resident psychologist, but I did notice that the flowers from the husband look much different than the flowers from the lover 😂🤣😂 grrr!!!! He is so funny! This looks delicious!

It's what a WW eclair tastes like! 😄 I've never had the real thing as far as the baked good. Had plenty of cream puffs though which are probably close! Lol Thanks Hayley!
Lol! Too bad your “lover” didn’t enjoy it! 🤣😉 (It’s such an old recipe I’m sure the points are outdated, glad you ran it through the points calculator!)
Yeah too bad! 😂🤣 At least my husband did! 😄😋 As for the points, I figured it was probably on an older point system. Still, it's amazing for 5 points! Thanks Susan! 😊💛
I love this dessert, but I never made the WW version. I wonder if the pudding would work with unsweetened almond milk for the skim which would lower the points.
I love it when my hubby taste tests for me😄 This would be great with chocolate graham crackers. I was thinking of trying cheesecake sf pudding in this myself! Thanks for watching, Heather!
I am excited to make this for my family for Easter.... I have the whipped topping but it doesn't say in the recipe where to add it..... I found it at 3:09 in your video but your written recipe doesn't say that step. Thank you for all your recipes; I can't wait to try this cake! :) Happy Easter!
I made this using 18 squares of graham crackers using 19 points (according to the WW recipe builder). I divided it into 15 portions and it was 4 points per portion.
By squares do you mean 1/4 of a graham cracker? I came up with a much lower point value as well until it was pointed out to me that the graham crackers were probably entered wrong since the serving size is confusing on the box. A serving of graham crackers is called "8 crackers" which equates to 2 full graham crackers. I was initially figuring it as 8 full crackers for a serving, not 2. The amount of graham crackers I used came to 56 points in the ww recipe builder. I used 22 1/2 full graham crackers.
I just saw your other comment! Another thing that might affect the points slightly is the brand of graham cracker you are figuring in the builder. I put in "Honey Maid grahams, low fat, honey" to come up with 5 points per serving.
this is a great idea, we are trying to watch what we eat again, so this sounds like heaven. I don’t think we get fat free pudding here, perhaps online? where did you get yours? that looks delicious

@@frozynsummer645 the different pudding mixes vary in how many ounces they are which would affect points so that might possibly be it. That's the only thing I can think of. It is really yummy though!

Hi Paula, the points are the same on all three colors. I try to always list points, the ingredients and instructions down in the description box of all my videos in case I forget to say them in the video. I did figure the points incorrectly on this one though due to confusion on the graham cracker serving size, so they are unfortunately higher than what I said in the video, they are 9 points per serving.
