I do not want to deal with pups shooting up too soon. At least not until everything has settled and rooted well. Thank you, Patricia. I appreciate your comments. ☺️🌵☕️
What your agave has is called"runners", it's the rhizome of the plant, and like you said, it's how it propagates, you've inspired me to start a desert garden of my own, great video.
Beautiful. You inspired me to start a cactus and succulent landscape garden. I love the assorted colored rocks. Thank you for all the tips in your videos.
Looks excellent! You did the needed research, chose the right plants and installed them appropriately. ~ I also remember being surprised by the numerous lengthy pups encircling a potted Agave, the first time I encountered them. You did the right thing by removing them at this time, as they take a lot of energy away from the mother plant which needs it to get established and vigorous in its new home. When pups start emerging in the future, they are fairly easy to did up if necessary, though I think leaving a few might look nice.
LOVE OF PLANTS 🌻, Ah, thank you so much for the info! It makes me feel so much better now. 🙂😄 I do want more agave pups but hopefully not too soon. And I love the color and form of an artichoke agave. Thank you for watching, Cheers! ☕️☕️😊
Great effort pays off, seeing them removes our stress even when we are just here watching this video :) I can relate to this! more power on your channel!
succulents for beginners, thank you po for watching. I truly appreciate you! Yes, this small garden is my stress reliever, too. I stare at it everyday! 😀🌵☕️
Fantastic Ana, you really did an awesome job there, expertly done and the end result is stunning. Looks beautiful. Look forward to seeing how the plants establish themselves and their growth over the coming months and years. Great video Ana, really enjoyed this 👍🏻☀️🌵🌺
😮 Wow Anna, your first try at a desert garden but it looks like it was created by a professional. 👏👏Well done 👍! You choose different coloured rocks as your top dressing and this is spot on. You said towards the ending that you’ll be doing new projects and so will I. I’ve plans to do something but I’m waiting for my twin boys to come home for the holidays as I need manpower. Lots of rocks/stones involved. 😂 😂 So I’ll be seeing what you’ll be up to in Nevada while you’ll see what I’m doing in Sarawak.
Thank you Molly. I know this garden will still evolve. It was not easy as everything was big and heavy. But I really enjoyed doing it and I stare at it everyday! Hahaha. Do you do that? 😁🥰 I am looking forward to your upcoming project. Thank you again for your support and encouragement! 😊🌵☕️
@@CactusCaffeine Of course the garden will keep changing, Anna. It happens to mine as well. Even if you've a flower pot you'll move it at certain times to suit your arrangement. But basically most will stay except for just a few minor changes. And yes, I still look out my window every morning to see my fairy garden. I walk around my whole garden every evening as well to check everything. We'll keep each other updated on all our new projects alright! See you in your/my video. Untill then, stay blessed always. 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Anna! You did great! Those agaves are fantastic and you have a beautiful collection of cacti there. You can enjoy your morning coffee in your own piece of heaven on earth now. Anna, laughed so hard when you said you dropped the agave thinking the stems were snakes. Hahaha. That was hilarious and I can see what you mean. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us my friend. From the garden city of India to you, have a great weekend! Cheers and God bless.
Thank you, Carl. Yup, that agave was something out of this world. Lol! I hope this garden thrives. I’m not worried about summer but it will be put into a test in winter.
I think you did an awesome job. As far as the gloves situation, I bought two cow hide gloves one size bigger than your original size and inserted the smaller glove inside the larger glove and it gives me double protection from the cactus needles. Happy gardening! I live in Henderson Nevada. Uprooted from Hawaii. I love it here. FYI... I bought the gloves from Star Nursery. I noticed in your video that you shopped there.
Leatha, thank you so much for the vote of confidence. I had fun and pain (from the thorns) at the same time while working on it. Hahaha. ☺️ But I think it was all worth it.
Wow! 😍 Great job Anna!.👌❤️ I love your garden. The agaves are so beautiful and the rainbow hedgehog is so adorable. That’s on my wishlist. Beautiful top dressing too! You are so awesome and brave on handling the cactis, I get so itchy too with those spikes but they are worth it. I love it all. 👌💞❤️😘
Enlarge it?! Oh my. Let me recuperate first. Hahaha. 🙃 That project took a lot of my strength and gave me lots of pricks. But I did enjoy it. I just might do that in the future. 😉 Thank you, Fernanda!
You did an amazing job with the desert scene cactus tapestry. I love all of the different cacti and the rock creatures. I did a succulent tapestry and I have the same Agave which I absolutely love. I want to work on my Cactus tapestry but it's rain season in Florida so I'm going to hold off for a bit. I love how it came out. Thanks for sharing😊👍❤.
Thank you Ruthie. I do remember you made a succulent tapestry. How are they doing now? Go for the cactus tapestry you are planning. Just choose those cactus/plants that can drink lots of water. 😃 I will be waiting for that! 👍🏼
Wow... great job kabayan. Sana we have the same type of weather in Nevada because Houston weather is so unpredictable. Thank God my cacti and succulents survived during heavy rains during Harvey
It's pretty great idea👍 I have an intention to do so, but i want to cover all the surface with stones and pebbles, do you think it impedes cactus growth???
Hi Fatima. I don’t think they will impede growth as cacti will find their way to push out of top dressings.
