09 f250 we just bought used and the cruise was intermittently working. Three weeks into ownership cruise stopped period. Found this video among several others and this one made it perfectly clear. Bought the switch that night and installed it the next day. First I ohmed it out and got zero ohms on the new one. Removed the old and tested it and got no reading at all. Definitely bad. Cruise works now, every time. My wife says "thanks!" So do I! I really appreciate you taking the time to make life easier for all of us! Merry Christmas

You have it bass ackwards Michael.
Continuity without pressure means the switch is closed... so it's a normally closed switch.
btw:
Gazillions of earlier fords have a recall due to faulty brake pressure switches causing fires,
including total loss of vehicles and homes when parked in attached garages or close to houses,
because one terminal is always hot and a fluid leak in the switch creates a short to ground, but usually just
loss of cruise control combined with a parasitic battery drain.
Some switches are on a brake line junction instead of master cylinder.

Thanks changed out the pressure switch on my 2010 F250 and Wallah cruise works again after 2-3 yrs!

Thanks for video I’ll be doing my this weekend. On some older Ford trucks the sensor was on top of the master cylinder. That would be a 1 minute job.
