    Glad that got it, Hank. I wish my F150 HVAC Actuators were as easy a fix (ha). They're not too pricey until you see the labor cost. That's when UA-cam pays off big-time. I prefer to fix my own stuff, anyways. Hope the F250 stays running strong for ya. Full watch.

    Thanks for this video! Replacing the switch under the cylinder fixed my problem! 2010 250 Lariat 6.4 with less than 50k miles and the cruise didn't work when I bought it a few weeks ago. I will say, the local AutoZone had the part in stock, but it was around $50. Seems like parts are more expensive in these covid times.

    I love my 08 /6.4. Other than a good maintenance program and a couple of inexpensive deletes that I did myself. I don't drive it like a race truck and she pulls whatever I put in it and behind it. The rest is a normal repair that most vehicles will have after the warranty. Now 3.65 K miles just put the third set of tires on it and one brake job. 😊👍👌

On my truck only the driver side does but not the passenger, In reading some articles looks like this may be common on 2010 F250 SD.

I have been looking and talking to local Ford dealer parts dept. I replaced a switch on the master cyl. but it is nothing like the one I'm seeing on YT, and the cutoff switch doesn't seem to be anywhere to be found....any thoughts?

  • @trollbob2900

    Thanks for the video, my F350 cruise just quit. I noticed you have a DPF delete control on the dash. When did you install that and how has it effected your truck. I've thought of putting it on my '08, I only have 107K, but from what I read it could really extend the life of my truck not to mention improve mileage (currently around 14mpg). You mentioned all the repairs you had to do on the 6.4L, was that before or after the DPF delete? thanks

    • @Hfoutdoorsyt
      @Hfoutdoorsyt  4 роки тому

      When I bought it l, it was already deleted. When they did all the work on the truck they added the tuner. I no longer have the truck. The bell housing got a crack in it. Such a shame bc I loved the truck but couldn't justify spending anymore money on it.

      @@Hfoutdoorsyt actually I only replaced the switch that is on the master cylinder. I do a c115 chasis fault. It's a fault for the left front wheel speed sensor. I am getting an accurate speed reading on the left speed sensor according to my scanner. I'm going to try to replace the Abs sensor. Just not sure which one would be the left, drivers side or passenger side. I am assuming it's the drivers side. Because I Replaced the passenger side wheel bearing and it came with a new sensor. I think that c115 fault is what is causing the cruise control to never activate. I'm glad I changed that switch on the master through. That thing looked rough and it was only 15 bucks.
