  • Today marks the 65th anniversary of Hanna-Barbera, known for producing the cheaply made cartoons on TV, specifically ones with the laugh tracks. On this day 65 years ago, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, the two men who had produced and directed the original "Tom & Jerry" shorts, established the studios to work on their own animated shows following the closure of the MGM cartoon studio, until Warner Bros. absorbed Hanna-Barbera after the death of Bill Hanna in 2001.
Here for this special video is a catchy song called "Cartoon Friends (Live in My TV)" from the Kings Island theme park's abandoned, yet most remembered boat ride attraction, the Enchanted Voyage, featuring some various well-known Hanna-Barbera characters.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Hanna-Barbera.
