Most places that sell cheap stuff do that. Most of their stock is either A. A knockoff of a popular brand, B.An alternatively imported food/drink item or C. Just a brand that sells their product cheap enough that said store can make a profit by selling it for cheap. (One of the local cheap stores here sells some pretty good tasting orange and apple juice, and some alternatively imported Oreos, for example)

pretty common in Asia too. We don't like waste so we keep boxes and tins for use of other stuff. These circular cookie tins are usually made into sewing kits, icecream boxes used to store herbs and spice pastes, bbiscuit tins for puffed rice, instant coffee bottles for dry spices etc.
It cost a 1.50 - Milka and Kinder cost about that where I live and are actually really good chocolate. Or you can get Hershey’s symphony bars for 1.50 which I like better than their normal chocolate. For a buck fifty I figured that danish chocolate wouldn’t be so terrible.
