Float height is 21mm . With carb tipped over with bowl off slide end on ground. Measure from gasket area with gasket out to top of highest point on float. Clean carb out. Pilot is small jet main is 10mm big one. Clean with carb cleaner, then blow out with air. You might have moisture in your tank. Clean gas tank, put gas in line filter on.
Also at 6:08 you are pointing at the float needle. When you set float height, make sure they both are visually even, both float chambers on the same carb I mean. And I would also pull the gas tank off, drain the fuel, remove the fuel on off valve and thoroughly clean both. I just fill the tank the tank with some water, slosh around and drain, repeat 5 or 6 times til it comes out clean. Either blow it out or let it dry in the sun. Mix some fresh gas and have peace of mind. Any little bits of debris in the float bowl can cause the float needle to hang open, and the pilot or main jets to get clogged.
The thing that fixed it for me was covering up the carbs with my hand where the air box goes into. I put my air box on and it fired right up. Saw south Texas banshee doing it without the air box on but it didn’t work for me without priming
I disassembled my carbs completely and cleared both jets pilots and mains. I also found that because I did a tours delete there was a sensor under the gas tank on the bottom left side of the bike towards the front near the radiator once I unplugged that it ran fine. There is also another sensor on the handle bars for the parking break if it's broken stuck closed the bike will not run properly. I deleted all that
6:06 you are pointing at the main jet. If you pull off that plastic piece inside, and look with a flashlight, you'll see a tiny jet with a flat head slot. You can get this out with a pocket screwdriver. That's the pilot jet. Remove them, clean them both and blow them out with compressed air and carb cleaner. You will have to hold them up to the sun or a light to see if they are clean. Seems like that could be why it's popping in the other video

Other than that I got a leak down kit from @southtexasbanshee and made sure I didn't have any vacuum leaks and my pipe fittings to mid pipes were all sealed
i wish. currently I've changed the pistons and rings, carb main and pilot jets, the coil and now the stator. hopefully the stator fixes the issue as it was pretty bad. looked as though the previouse owner was mudding in deep water as it was very corroded. if that doesnt fix it i will gravitate towards the wiring harnes and cdi box

Thanks brother! I ended up changing the petcock all together and cleaned out the tank and my carbs. Runs much better. Still a backfire here or there

@@SkyCandyVisuals I’ve never heard of a sensor being there but I have heard about the parking brake being an issue on some bikes.

Sirbraapalot damn eh, I changed the gas, cleaned the carbs, rejetted and synced carbs. Works great now
Sirbraapalot but then I had timing plate bolts back out and jam against the flywheel, blew the plugs out and everything lol

What do you mean? I use alcohol as starter fluid. Its not the best thing in the world to do but it goes in the carbs intake where the air filter is

Really it boils down to a leak down check and compression testing. If those things clear then it on to cleaning carbs, checking stator gap etc etc
