Even if Endermen are Mentally harmed by water, rather than physically, as they come from a waterless void, the meat would be intensely dry.

@@omegadragons321 it all comes down to "is mojang comfortable with it making sense?"
Also after some thought it makes more sense for it to be hydrogen, as it's lighter than oxygen. That also means, that ghast tears are just a biproduct of nether's atmosphere combining with hydrogen, which implies, that ghast tears are some hydrogen - oxygen compound, likelly H2O2, which is used to deinfect wounds because of it's ability to effectivelly kill germs. That implies, that the potion of healing is oxigenated water and it just removes infections. It would also remove any gut microbiome, so steve's not gonna have a great time on the toilet after drinking that red juice.

-Shulker: Some sort of shellfish like oysters or clams. Can be eaten raw or cooked.
-Slime: Completely flavorless, the texture is like molasses.
-Magma cube: Molten rock.
-Blaze: That strong ass Korean chili paste that could knock out a whole herd of cattle.
-Any nether pigs: Spicy pork.
-Ghast: Water vapor.
-Phantom: Lobster.
-Both guardians: Salty pennies.
-Sniffer: Mutton, venison or some other gamy meat.
-Glow squid: Same as a normal squid, but it makes your belly glow for several days after eating it.
-Strider: The world’s driest potatoes.
-Wither: Coal and soot.
-Ender Dragon: Gator meat that was left in the microwave for too long.

I've always interpreted the Blazes as being like some kind of twisted golden golem that burns with hatred, and that's why it sounds like it's breathing through some kind of metal structure and the hitting noises are just clanking.
As for ghasts, the fact that their heads have a hole in the bottom where the tentacles come out implies they're not cephalopods, but rather a cnidarian-esc creature like a jellyfish.
Make of that information what you will, but I'd rather not put a large, scorching-hot metal rod into my mouth, or a jellyfish 10 times my size-
>I'd rather not put a large, scorching-hot metal rod into my mouth

@@Apowo16coward
I am inclined to agree with you about the blazes. When it comes to the ghasts, however, Minecraft Dungeons showcases baby versions of both ghasts and glow squids, and they share a model, so I am inclined to read them as cephalopods. That said, a model that low res leaves so much room for interpretation we'll probably never know for sure.
@@liamcardozo2068 Though that is a very good observation, and one that also threw me off, I am still inclined to believe ghasts are jellyfish, as the babies actually highly resemble immortal jellyfish with the glowing orb inside of their translucent bells.
Of course, a point could be made in either direction, so feel free to make your own counterpoint if you wish.
Also, one other thing, specifically in regard to endermites.
If you subscribe to the idea that ender pearls are an organ in the endermen's bodies, then endermites are an endoparasite of endermen.
I'm sure you can guess how good an idea it would be to ingest a parasite adapted to live inside another creature.
Personally, I like to imagine ghasts being sort of giant flying sentient cotton candy. So if they had meat, it would be sort of light-weight and fluffy in your mouth, and probably would taste sort of sugary and roasted, while still being a little bland though

Guide on how to cook minecraft mobs
Creeper: Start out with removing the tnt, Seperate the bones to make sauce later They have a hint of the taste of leaves and gunpowder so make sure to heavily season with your favorite seasoning, their skin absorbs seasoning well, put in the grill at 125C for 2 hours, then increase the heat to 235C for 10 minutes. then with the bones, cook the bones, scoop out the marrow and mix with beetroot, and if you have some, mix with some creeper fat
Enderman: Enderman have similar effect to you as chorus fruit, so make sure when you are eating this, there is no hollow walls as you might get stuck in the wall. anyways onto the recipe, Remove the skin on the enderman as it is too tough, make sure to remove enderman bones due to the psychedelic effects, as there is not much meat, you cant really get this meat from buying it, so your best option is to hunt, anyways, once you get your enderman meat, rub with lots of sauce, due to enderman being extremely dry, then you cook at a low heat for 20 hours
Slime: this is not edible, and also it tastes like grass.
Phantom: the Membrane can be boiled to make a fatty sauce, side effects of it are similar to insomnia, do not try
Ravager: Prepare like buffalo
Sniffer: dont eat the little guy!
Blaze: You can make Blaze marrow due to the bone-like properties of blaze rods
Piglin: Prepare like pork, it also has a slight gold taste.
Ghast: Due to the gas inside them being sulfur, make sure to freeze dry before eating to get rid of most of the smell, Due to their spongey texture of meat, you can season to the extreme and sauce, Ghast meat is basically sponge
1k likes for more!
I imagine creeper preparation is similar to the preparation of fugu fish/pufferfish where you have to have years and years of training in order to avoid puncturing any organs that contain the deadly poison, or in this case, the tnt.

The strider drops string, so I think that's what the things on it head are. I still can't figure out the feet though, I was thinking it was so burnt they couldn't feel it and it turned hard, but they're BORN with it, so it can't be that. They probably just evolved fire-resistant hooves somewhere along the line.
It's netherite!
To be fair, baby villagers are born with clothes, so the whole burnt thing I think is somewhat true. Like the other reply (and some other users from other videos suggested) that it's netherite, which kinda does make sense. I like to imagine that when a strider is first born, it remains on top of the mother riding it, untill the legs slowly collect netherite over time and become more fire resistant and burnt. The reason why they aren't born with it right off the bat is to protect the mother from injury while giving birth.
"im not gonna include the allay or vex, because they're basically ghosts, and you cant eat ghosts!"

If I ever want to eat a creeper, I would eat the TNT because I heard they are exploding with flavor.
"Would you eat a Creeper for the clout? I would, and you couldn't stop me either!"
*Well, I'll enjoy this last video while I can..*
Honestly, that sounds like more work than it's worth. Would that even be good clout? Considering that most people think Creepers taste like some unholy combination of marijuana and gunpowder.
Here's some April fools mobs and how I think they would taste.
Redstone Bug: Considering it is just a silverfish but red, it would probably be similar to the endermite, it's taste would be based on how you prepare them. But my main concern is where they come from. They come from redstone wires rarely when they increase in charge, and redstone glows when you touch it inside its ore. I'm not sure about you, but I would not eat something that came from a glowing red rock that can be used as electricity. That would probably shock you, and give you radiation.
Toxifin Slab: Based on appearance alone, we can judge that the Toxifin Slab is most likely made of potato, that sounds good, but then you consider what it drops. All of the items it drops upon death have toxic in the name. I have a slight suspicion that you wouldn't want to eat something that's toxic, it is a Resin though, if that makes anything better. If you were to just cut off the potato part though, you would probably be fine. You would probably get a pretty good chunk of potato from him as well.
Pink Wither: Unlike his normal counterpart, this guy is summoned with pink wool, and a flowerpot containing a rose, so this thing is most likely not a spirit. Feeding it sugar apparently gives it more heads, so we can assume the head is made of, well, sugar. He seems to look the same for the rest of the body, so he's honestly safe to eat most likely. Just pure sugar. Wouldn't be healthy, but you wouldn't die from it.
This is how I would think the mobs would taste:
Creeper- most likely a salad kind of taste, with some gunpowder o-o, but either way it would mostly taste like salad
Enderman- It would definitely taste like dry, stale spam, the skin would taste like cocaine, and it would definitely cause some bizarre effect (sort of like nausea, runny nose, and would probably make you very dehydrated)
Endermite- soft and crunchy meth. o-o that’s it.
Warden- it has been confirmed that he tastes like raisins, but I also think it would be kinda slimy and most likely a bit sweet, sour, or pungent
Shulker- like you said, like a clam or like an oyster. It would make you float.
Strider- “HOT POTATO! HOT POTATO! WHO HAS THE HOW POTATO!?”
Ghast- hear me out! Chicken
Blaze- hot rock (specifically granite)
Phantom- probably like a very mushy and cold lobster. Would definitely give you a bit of insomnia and a bit of sleep paralysis.
Magma_cube- a crunchy crust with pure lava inside. t a s t y :p
Slime- slime
Guardian- prismarine, and the spikes taste like salt
Elder_Guardian- primarine, and the spikes taste like salt. The meat tastes like old spam.
Sniffer- very sweet beef with a hint of cherry juice
Wither- bone but has a lot of ash
Ender_Dragon- she (yes, she) would definitely taste like alligator meat with a lot of Ender side effects
That is how I think Minecraft mobs would taste because that’s how I think Minecraft mobs will taste. :p
On Bedrock the tip screen for when a world is loading even states that the Creeper was born from a coding bug that was in the botched pig model, where it'd explode if you got too close to it. That's pretty much the gist of what created the creeper without coming up with an elaborate ass backstory about the entirety of the mob's history.
Someone’s been watching Dungeon Meshi 👀 but genuinely, let’s headcanon some. enderman bone broth as a base, the bones completely dissolve into the broth because of the hydrophobic nature of ender physiology. Strain it with a cheesecloth to get any residual clumps out, got a nice dark purple broth with a deep, rich, umami flavor that can be likened to tonkotsu. Next we crack open the shulkers to get at the meat inside, we rinse them to get rid of any sand or dirt or leftover shulker pellet “seeds” (you can touch them but if you eat them you levitate for a fraction of a second and it’s just enough to make you nauseous with vertigo). Then we fry them in butter and garlic and season to taste with kosher salt, black pepper, cayenne and lemon. Like oysters. Next we can use wheat and eggs to make noodles. Ramen or udon to your taste. To finish our enderman tonkotsu we can grill up some hoglin chops after slicing them very fine. A punch made from grinding glistening melons and some radishes pickled in diluted slime juice round our garnishes and drink. Ooo and some glow squid narutomaki that the whirl glows. And nether warts can replace enoki mushrooms. There ya go. Enderman and hoglin Tonkotsu Udon with Glow Squid Natrutomaki, Wart Enoki, and slime pickled radishes, along with a side of pan fried oyster style shulkers and Glistering Punch.
As delicious as that sounds, the overwhelming majority of those ingredients are implied to be incredibly toxic. i would not recommend this recipe, but whatever floats your goat man.

Nevertheless, if my dad bought it at BJ's and cooked it up, I'd do my level best to dig in and most likely annihilate the flesh of this here..."Sniffer".
9:52 The "stones" on its legs are cooled lava, since they spend all their time walking on it it crusts to their feet when it cools. As for the things on its head, those are hairs (kinda like whiskers), which they drop in the form of string when killed.

12:34 actually because she’s flying her meat would be gamey, just like how you don’t eat the back on dear. Sedentary animals are easier to get tender meat from, that’s why pigs and cows end up fat because we want tender beef and pork. 2) Ingest a ridiculous chemical mixture that results in gunpowder.
3) Grow spore/seedlets across its grenade body like shrapnel fragments.
4) Find a suitable living host filled with nutrients.
5) Run up to them, Detonate, KILL THAT HOST AND SPLATTER BOTH COMBINED REMAINS ACROSS THE FLOOR, WALLS, AND ROOF OF THIS DECREPIT WORLD.
6) Creeper spores/seedlets use the charred and decimated remains as a foundation to grow from.

Minecraft expert here, now this will be fun!
The creeper will likely taste like gunpowder and catnip, since they are probably related to it because why would they need to fear cats.
Endermans in minecraft dungeons combust when they die, so you would probably not be able to eat it. Though if you could, it would probably taste like acid. It is morally right to eat one, since their goal is to destroy all dimensions.
Endermites would probably taste like acid and mites.
Slimes likely taste like acid and cave water, and if they spawn in a swamp then acid and swamp water.
Phantoms are wierd, and I have no clue either lol.
Guardians probably taste like magical gemstones and electronic parts. Maybe the fish and sponge they drop count?
Ravager probably tastes like a person but wrong. Also would probably be a little tough.
The Sniffer would probably taste like beef, but also probably not that tough since they don't seem that strong.
Blazes are lava.
Magma Cubes are lava.
A Piglin probably tastes like a combination of pig and human.
Ghasts probably feed of heat energy, so not much.
Striders are a like mammels, but without heat control and milk. They probably taste a little like fungus.
Shulkers are golems, so if the body it's endstone, and if it's the shell for some reason, it would taste like popped chorus fruit.
Wardens are just a hunting mechanism of the sculk, and sculk is a fungus. It would probably taste like rotten flesh and souls.
The Ender Dragon can not be eaten, since it just combusts. But if you did, it would probably taste like healing magic and acid. The egg would taste like acid too.
Anyone have questions?
Uh hi yea, how do you know what mites taste like?!
@@nathaliefernandez6431 :)
People taste like pork anyway, so Pigmen just taste like pig. Or human. Either works, really.
I need someone to go full Dungeon Meshi on all of the Minecraft Mobs. Even the ones you really shouldn't eat
I liked the idea so I wrote up a bit for the Creeper
Creeper - The first and most important thing you need to do before preparing a Creeper corpse for cooking is defusing and then removing the bomb. Fantasy minecraft chefs have to be specially trained on this process and are given a certification to show potential jobs that they are trained to perform this task. Kinda like fugu chefs in the real world! The outer layer is comparable in texture and mouth feel to the outer layers of an onion. The "meat" is not actually meat at all! It is actually a form of mushroom, and the Creepers developed their explosive abilities as a way to spread their spores and reproduce. These spores are very common, and lie dormant until they are subjected to dark environments for long enough to sprout new Creepers. They target players due to learning that they have the largest wander radius of any other mob. If a player survives the explosion they will be coated in microscopic spores that will slowly shed off of the player abd spread the colony whereverthey go. And if the player dies, it can be counted on for a player to retrieve the spore ridden items the player leaves behind. If not, new Creepers will sprout regardless and they can attempt the process all over again. For eating the meat itself with drumsticks or breasts it is usually removed, but for stews/soups you can cook the skin in the broth to dissolve it and add flavor/nutrients. The amount of edible meat on a single Creeper would actually be very small as a large chunk of their anatomy is dedicated to the storage and ignition of the tnt. A lot of the meat surrounding the block is infused with gunpowder, and this spreads if the Creeper was preparing to explode before it died(which is usually the case if it was killed with a melee weapon. The meat is, once again, not meat at all. It is very homogeneous in texture, and it has a naturally smoky taste. It works nicely in making broth as it practically melts when in hot water for long periods of time.
I would love to play a mod like that
Cave spiders: ahem. What am I? A roach?
You can use Phantom Membranes to make slow falling potions, so the two probably have a similar flavor.
6:00 they arent ghosts, they are just creatures, the reason they are named phantoms is (presumably) because of their ghost like screeching, the reason they only show up after not having slept for a couple of days is because thats how they hunt, they are "attracted to insomnia" so they just dont come close to you until they deem you a valid target, cats can hunt them and you can use their drops to repair your elytra which means they have to be real
They are undead
@@FlameLord050 and what, so are zombies and skeletons
4:21 bone broth
This is the real reason Jean is the last dragon
Actually slimes in dnd have been bred to be so small and weak that they are just citrusy snacks
I feel like the warden would probably taste like plants/fungus/moss considering what the sculk is and the fact it just tunnels out of it constantly. It also seems to be closely related to things like the sculk sensors and whatnot which are just… yknow, patches of sculk with leaf-like tentacles. I feel like the warden would just taste like old ground beef that has since been dried out completely and has been grown over by the wettest moss ever, which to be perfectly honest doesn’t sound very pleasant to eat, but then again caviar is like a delicacy here and also is kinda weird so maybe warden meat can just be like Minecraft’s boojie sorta caviar-equivalent rich person food. Only issue is that when you’re eating it you probably are also hearing the screams of the damned souls trapped within it but hey food is food
I argue that Guardians must have some meat.
When you kill one, they drop fishes.
Also, just because it's old doesn't stop people from eating hundred years old eggs.
Hundred year old egg is a misnomer actually. It’s is just their name because they look like they could be 100 years old when actually they’re only a little over a month old
8:13 Im prettry sure blazes are litteral fucking metal 💀
Also note: THE STRIDERS FEET ARE FUCKING NETHERITE
i mean, there will be more iron in my diet
I remember seeing a creeper figurine where the brain was a tnt block, also, if you want to eat an enderman you should just rip off one of the arms and eat it like ribs.
This video is the primal urge to see something and ask yourself if you can manage to eat it
1:05 - "Hah thats pretty funny, nice one"
3:36 - "o-oh, she wasn't joking"
My headcanon for ravagers is that you probably shouldn’t eat them. You don’t find them in the wild and they have villager faces. Probably made by dark magic and dark magic is nothing you should be putting into your digestive system.
Edit: as for creepers, I imagine them to be entirely plant based organisms. Thus their “meat” might taste like veggie burgers.
Edit 2: as somebody else mentioned, blaze powder and magma cream are likely edible due to being used in potions. So here are my headcanoned tastes
Blaze powder: Carolina reaper hot pepper mixed with a noticeable taste of old pennies.
Magma cream: sunscreen mixed with room temperature but still molten rock.
Edit 3: since Breezes from the new update are probably in the same family as blazes I’ll theorize about their taste despite them not having a powder.
Breeze powder: wind chilled metal that blows around in your mouth with or without you breathing. Likely very dangerous to inhale as they would blow around in your lungs and cause bleeding or a collapsed lung.
3:37 Just casually dropping what humans taste like
the forbidden pork
9:05
That sucker has 5 hit points. Assuming you could stomach it, it's truly bountiful meat. Eat it alive so it has time to cry...Err...Season itself.
9:19
Nevermind.
8:29 **cut to that one scene of sukuna grinning while preparing his hands**
I wish I found this video when it came out. I have a bedrock SMP and love your vibe, probably would invite you. But now it’s 6 months and you’ve (rightfully) blown up alongside this video! Congrats on that, this is high quality content
If matpat is correct endermen would taste like chorus fruit because according to him that's all they ate in the end
9:45 I think the lava strider is an aracknid, I know its not effected by bane of arthropods but it actually seems to share features of tarantulas.
It would probably taste like lobster without the salty profile, with hints of fowl, being gamey due to their active lifestyle wading through molten rock.. (To be fair though fictional creatures from another dimension would have their own unique flavor profiles unlike anything on earth)
So are they born with the netherite on their legs? If not where do they live before they find some of the most valuable material in the Minecraft world?
@bangtannugget784 The lava striders having netherite on their legs isn't official it's a theory, also netherite is one of three ores found in the nether naturally so it's not only possible but likely that they would be born with it if it were the case.
It's called organic mineralization it's how things like fish, turtles, armadillos and even humans have hard shells, exoskeletons and skeletons.
Striders appear to be some kind of fire equivalent to an amphibian, with the stony bits just being cooled magma that got stuck to their legs. Therefore, you may be on to something with the frog/alligator meat comparison!
I'm pretty sure the stoney material on their legs is netherite.
Since Blaze Powder is used in all potions now, it's definitely edible. I bet it's super spicy.
I’m pretty sure the lore is illagers experimented on villagers and turned them into revengers
Also to point out skulk is mold like, and the warden is a bulky skeleton covered in skulk so uhhh
