Just FYI you need the Champions of Chaos DLC to upgrade to some of the units in this guide (Marauders of Slaanesh for instance), am new to the game and had to dig a bit to find out which DLC I needed. CA don't seem to tell you what units you get in the information panel on Steam. Thank you for the guide, super helpful.
Converting the sorcerer from Shadows to Slaanesh works very well because you get the 10% speed buff whenever you cast from Shadows and it still applies when you are casting for Slaanesh which is definitely related to speed, flanking and fast attacks.

I just tried it myself. Sadly enough, it doesn't apply retroactively to my already ongoing Sigvald game (or games even). Also really shitty move by them.
Better having 4 Dark fortresses on turn 6. Always upgrade money buildings and tier 2 before growth if lacking in funds. T1 recruit units, fight the first 2 battles, claim your first dark fortress, & recruit a lord. T2 double move to the monolith of katam and double move your new lord north to Shard Bastion eventualy taking The Palace of Ruin. T3 take Monolith of katam. T4 Move sigvald to the east on your way to Doom keep. Split off your mage to move ahead to steal technology & scout (Chaos tech takes a long time). Continue with your lord other to The Palace of Ruin. T5 steal technology at Doom Keep, continue movement, upgrade the settlement to tier 2, and have your vassal Ahgol target the Dark Elves at Shagrath. T6 offer to join Wulfrik in his war with the Nagflarlings for money & recruit up to 17 units. Attack Doom Keep & settle the Palace of Ruin. Congratulations you now have 4 Dark Fortresses and 3 vassals. Disband the hero at Palace of Ruin. Dark elves will offer you a peace treaty, don't take it. T7 Double move to Monolith of Bjorkil Bloody Hand. Make a non-aggression pact with Da Cage Breakaz. T8 recruit 2 marauders/aspiring champions. Move to take out monolith of Bjorkil. T9 attack Monolith of Bjorkil with your other hero supporting. Sack with sigvald, transfer 1 aspiring champion/2 marauders, and move in the 2nd Lord to occopy. Continue moving Sigvald to finish off armies and Troll Fjord. T10 Move your 2nd Lord to the edge of the province in Monolith of Bjorkil so he can recruit on turn 11. He is heading towards the Alter of the Crimson Havest South. Make a Non-aggression pact with the Black pit Tribe for money. Over the turn Azghol might have taken shard lands. Peace out for 7.5k with the Dark elves. T11 you should have over 11k favor. Head towards the Frozen City to finish off the Dark Elves with sigvald on boat. Recruit with your 2nd lord up to 12 units (mostly marauders) and move up towards the Alter of Crimson Harvest. T12 join the war with Nordland against the Skaeling and attack the alter once you've recruited the rest of the horde. That's 6 dark fortresses. Use your vassals to defend and attack minor factions you're at war with. Finishing dominating Norsca to the east and have sigvald head north after taking out North to the Silvered Tower of Sorcerers after taking the Frozen City. I'm pretty sure you can get 9 0 10 Dark fortresses by turn 20 - 21.
How do we spread slaanesh corruption, start cults in our neighbouring factions, and conquer them the seductive way? Screw those chaos factions, I want my LL dark elves to my bidding! Already got Valkyra under my banner by waging war and subjugating her after winning the last siege battle of her faction.
I know this is from a few patches back now but how do you deal with Belakor early? Right after I get the second Dark Fortress he declares war and bum rushes to Fortress of the Damned. Vassal won't engage him, if you order them to defend settlement they just orbit outside of the engagement area.
This happened to me too. So basically you want to expand till you border the first dark elf settlement to the west. Belakor won't be there. You should have enough time to go defend your main base from a Varg attack. You can then go west or go south to vassalize Varg who will be defensively. IF you gave the cities to the west to your vassal the Aghol you should have a buffer between your main base and Belakor. You should have enough time to return when he is one settlement away from your first base. Defeat him in a battle. Next you need to take him out but he is with the Vanaheimlings. You need to take their bases on the Island before you take Belakor out. You should be able to clear the island with 2 stacks. You will vassalize Vanaheimlings and eliminate Belakor.
My main problem with Sigvald is that its very hard to spread Slaanesh Corruption because of high Undivided Corruption and you want Slaanesh because it gives many good buffs.
there are several ways to get it up. I use slaanesh devoted lords and the blue tree on sigvald to spread corruption. The slaanesh techs also boost it and make sure to turn off the undivided commandment if you are using that in your provinces

Sigvald? He sits somewhere in the middle of duelist and infantry killer. His armor piercing damage is on the lower side, but his melee attack and defense is amazing.
@@Rejnols about armor piercing, he does start just next to Malus, Valakia and Hellebron, and their defeat traits give considerable amount of armor piercing
For anyone wondering, the guide is still perfectly viable, except you no longer get mirror guard as a renown unit. Other then that its completely true everything he says.

Believe the Slaanesh part of the technology tree helps with corruption. Gifts of slaanesh as well

How do you move your Units at 1:47 in thier formation?
Select the units, hold ALT and drag your mouse. You can also combine that with CTRL and you can drag and rotate the units.
I don't seem to get the option to upgrade my Maruaders to Slaneesh Marauders, am I missing something?
