    I think you would like the puma liberate nitro. Similar stack, drop and very flexible, but a softer foam. I think it would be similar to the UA in regards to giving you full control over your biomechanics

    Seth, with all these shoes to review and try. Do you ever have time to settle into a rotation for a training block? If you have a key workout, or just feeling like you need a different shoe than scheduled, do you call the audible and go with what you feel? I know you always said the training/running/racing is the priority.

    I think the price was because of the new foam for UA. They just released a Flow Velociti SE. It’s a knitted upper & the same midsole. The price is $130

    Hey Seth, in regards to today’s comment of the day: I know you’re a stickler for pronunciation and reaching your international audience. When someone writes “jajajaja,” that’s typically a Spanish-speaker’s way of saying “hahaha,” and is pronounced exactly the same! (J is pronounced like the English H in Spanish.) Just a heads up ;)
    Signed,
    Your friendly neighborhood Spanish teacher.

    WOOO been excited for this one. It's not my favorite shoe ever but I always love seeing companies move in the right direction like this. I just wish they'd make a version without the tech for those of us who don't want to use it / pay extra for it

    I think the flow is intended to be more of a track flat with some cushion in terms of stack. At least based on advertisements while Noah running fast in a track in it. It’s infesting to see how durable they are. That’s nice to see, especially with the weight.

    Honestly great shoes, I do believe these UA shoes are underated overall. I own those but other shoes are good too ! I used to be a Hooka guy, but UA is my new to-go brand ! Of course I did not try as much shoes as you obviously so that's why i'm still looking at these videos ! Great review as always !

    Finally... I have been waiting for this video! Hopefully you check out more UA shoes soon. Lots of good stuff out there.
    This shoe is amazing to run in and the new Velociti SE with a knit upper vs the TPU warp upper here.
    Mapmyrun and UA connected footwear has has really helped me to get into running and I find tracking workouts this way through the shoe easier and more accurate than using Strava on a watch.

      The chip works superbly well if setup correctly. Odd he gave it a lower score yet really enjoyed running in it! 👍🏼😊🏃🏻‍♂️

    • @brianwj5
      @brianwj5 3 роки тому

      @@EDDBUD I can’t remember the last time Seth took a shoe to 60 miles. It’s weird he enjoyed running in a shoe that he said he would go up half a size. Plus even at 60 miles I’m not sure that shoe is truly broken in. The TPU yarn in the upper is really durable and took me some time to break in.

    I had two pairs of under armor shoes that were supposed to be the same model. One of them I should have gone up a half size The other one is actually pretty good sizing. Both were pretty firm for what it's worth. I think it was the charged rogue.

    The plus of the shoe as you describe it is what I still love about the Boston 9 (and v.8 as well): control over my footstrike. Unlike what you’re saying about the Flow, the little bit of Boost+ Lightstrike (in v.9) is responsive and fun. It’s still nice to run in a traditional, low profile shoe despite the fascination with all innovation going on. QD: Yours and a few other shoe review/running channels!! Martha

    if Nike was smart they'd buy out Stryd and just put that pod in their top end EEEEELITE Next% Vaporfly series for like $350 a pair and have shoes that could actively coach you DURING your races

    • @brianwj5
      @brianwj5 3 роки тому

      I'm confused why buy stryd would be the way do go vs building the tect in the shoe like UA. Clearly you can make a lightweight shoes with all the sma features... Plus the way UA has it set up you can run in wet weather and you don't have to charge anything or physically connect anything. With stryd you have to charge the device regularly. Also I don't believe the stryd device is waterproof.

    Come on Seth, live a little. Try out the connected fitness on the shoe and let people know if even works as advertised. Do it for the people. Then on all the other UA reviews in the future you can just skip it and refer people back to the video when you reviewed it. It's hard to do a full review on something without going into a big feature that really stands out against the rest. Plus with the growing market for footpods and footpods like products, this clearly has a market.
