The team is in a tough spot with just week before the deadline because they're close enough but not really the way the team has performed. The fastball stuff with the offense blows my mind. The Rangers certainly have some pieces other teams need and that I think are at peak market value - like Yates is a perfect example. That guy is 37-years old and is pitching at a level that he has only come close to once in his 10-year career - 2019 with the Padres. Good luck CY. I hope y'all make the right moves. Let's go Rangers!!
Ive got an idea for the rangers going forward if you are going to get a pitcher make sure they arent injury prone. This team seems to gamble way to much on these pitchers that have had one or two great seasons but have had injury problems.
In order for the Texas Rangers get a chance to come back to the Playoffs the team needs to get rid of Max Scherzer, bring back Mahle and deGrom asap and when Dane Dunning gets done with rehab assignments place him in the bullpen as Long Reliever. Bring back 3B Josh Jung and make Josh Smith platoon 3B/SS when Jung and Seager get tired. Bring Evan Carter and play him on LF give Langford a break and make him the DH...try out Josh Smith as leadoff hitter with Semien and Seager 2nd & 3rd...im sorry to say it but I think Garcia was on steroids or something but he isnt the same guy as last year so trade him for a good reliever to boost it even more and give Jankowski his spot at RF.
@@MoTownIfritYou’re not getting much for Latz. We’re gonna have a lot of starting pitching depth. I wouldn’t mind seeing either Lorenzen or Scherzer traded for a bat. Put Gray in the bullpen. Hopefully we get something out of Mahle, deGrom, and Bradford.
Langford has hit much better playing everyday in the field. I wouldn’t like him to get more than occasional DH spots. Jankowski is providing nothing offensively. They gotta get Garcia right, play Carter only vs righties. I’d like to Scherzer or Lorenzen traded for a bat or relief help.
We need to sweep the White Sucks now that Seattle and Houston arent at their best. Garcia needs to up his game if not he and Scherzer should be gone. Scherzer is giving excuses and his attitude never fit well with the team.
Yes we desperately needed help from whatever was out there with that trade with Scherzer but his is a liability right now trade him for something good that boost our bullpen even more.
@@BassYakCam its his altitude that pisses me off but his last start was good but that was vs the White Sox but I think Chris Young should be looking their progress in an everyday basis for this last games before the trade deadline but if we sweep this team and we are on a 5 or 6 winning streak no changes should be made but still Max Scherzer came to Texas because we are one of those teams he dont do well vs us. So for me it was a good deal for him to play for us more than the other way around...
@@jacqueshowell1400 I can see how his attitude is annoying. But that’s part of what makes him good. I don’t think we should be outright sellers being only 2.5 back now. But I wouldn’t mind seeing them trade a starting pitcher, including Sherzer. With Mahle, Bradford, Dunning, DeGrom all coming back, we will have too many pitchers. Can’t put them ALL in the bullpen. Personally I’d like to see Gray in the pen. And maybe Heaney, although his been a pretty good starter lately. Trade Lorenzen, and give Bradford a chance to continue his dominant 3 starts he had at the beginning of the year.
Fluke or not, the chip is in the bag. Orioles are the best in the AL currently. What'd you expect in that series? Langford walked it off in the 10th last night. Did you turn it off early?
Rangers should not sell...you guys still have great players...this division will no doubt, be determined on last week of season...mark my word
If the team has a chance to get a guy like Dubón and give a day or 2 off to Nate Lowe at 1B and give Semiens some breathing room we will be set.

They have to start hitting. Will Jung and Carter make a difference? Hard to say.
What happened to Duran? Haven't heard his status?
Josh Smith happened.

I'm not going second guess them. It's hard to say what is on the table. No one could predict these injuries Bradford, Carter, Jung. On and on really.

How about we get rid of Latz and keep Scherzer

I mean he’s mostly pitched very well with one terrible outing.

They should sell. 2023 was a fluke. Lost 2 of 3 to the orioles and now just lost to the white Sox. Smh

Only 4 games back…it will be ok
We won last night though.....
