Accurascale - British Rail Class 55 Deltic - Railway Modeller - September 2022

In the September 2022 Issue of Railway Modeller, we take a closer look at the eagerly anticipated English Electric British Rail Class 55 'Deltic' in OO from Accurascale.
Here we put the DCC sound fitted sample - finished as D9006 'The Fife and Forfar Yeomanry' in BR two-tone green with full yellow ends - through its paces on the Peco loft layout 'Peckwick Rye' hauling a mixed formation of BR blue/grey stock.

What a GREAT sounding Deltic. Well done Accurascale.
This brings back memoires of Grantham station, waiting for the London bound train to come in. Except the LNER buffet coach when on the train was still in its LNER brown, not intercity colours. That was when you could get served a proper cocked on the train breakfast. The only way to travel to London.

Actually, quite a disappointing set of running shots, about as dreary as it gets! I'm sure you could have presented something a little more interesting on such a prominent channel.
