wow! thank you so much for such a thoughtful review. every point you made is exactly why i use a short strap and wanted to make this for everyone! thank you man. enjoy the ride! #nomoreknots
It’s been awhile, correction: the talking head part where I show my old strap on the couch was the xh2s, and the POV in the house, picking up the baby etc was the insta360 go 3
The one downside for me in having a short strap (27") from clever supply co "pre Joe Greer" camera strap is that shooting portrait orientation with the camera around my neck isn't always functional. I tend to wrap it around my around my wrist when shooting which kinda defeats the purpose of a camera neck strap...
Loving the Wings hate... GO WINGS!!! It's a nice looking strap, but I wish the strap was stitched holding the rings and not a metal rivet to possibly scratch the camera...
Go WINGS!! haha. Good point about the strap, but they also include little rubber pieces and a leather piece that goes against the camera (which I now use) to make sure it doesn’t get scratched!
Strangely enough I've been able to use short stratps for ages .. Either adjust your existing straps (yes, that's what those adjusters are for), or just buy existing "short" straps like I've been able to do for years. Personally I find short straps only usable about 10% of the time ... That's just my thoughts.
Hi there! Thanks for the comment, appreciate you taking the time to write :) I’ve always found with adjustable straps they don’t go short enough, or they end up having so much extra length on the lugs as a result of shortening / plus extra weight and bulk for no reason. I haven’t actually been able to find a short strap that is under 36” but I’m sure they exist! Not to mention I’ve always loved clever supply leather work, it was an easy buying decision for me to go with this one haha. I love it for my Leica, as I said with the Fuji I use a slightly longer custom 30” compared to the 27” Curious what strap do you use for the other 90% of the time?
Dude thanks so much for the thoughtful review and kind words. Appreciate you, Chris!

I had no idea Joe & Clever Supply were making shorter straps until I saw this video.
Short strap szn
What a rad video. I’m so sold on this strap! Did you shoot all of shots outside the house on the x100?
Thank you! And yes, the whole video was shot on the x100V :)

Stroppa (a Polish maker) makes a 70cm (27.5 inches) rope strap which is very nice
Great video, great strap ❤

Doesn’t hit your kid in the head. Sold.
Precisely
Agreed. I hit mine in the head, as I was wearing a standard strap, and now I’m concerned he will be a UA-camr in the future.
