Why does the newscaster keep calling this gathering a "demonstration"? It's a march to honor Dr. King's message and memory, man some people just don't get it!
@MrMegaFredzeppelin An individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law
I also heard from someone that Nashville had a riot the year that Martin Luther King was killed but I'm not finding any articles about that anyone know information? Or if that happened
@rax7 Are you serious? Martin Luther King Jr. was a preacher and Civil Rights Activist (notably the most non-violent one). Inspired by the teachings of Ghandi, MLK used nonviolence to help stop the Jim Crow segregation laws in America. He also led the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the Million Man March in DC. He was the one who gave the "I Have a Dream" speech! Come on man, you gotta know at least one thing about Martin Luther King Jr.
@Footsniffer51 our generation owe this man he stood for truth, justice, equality and the true American skin it doesn't matter about the color of skins spirit of him lives on in all of us those who fight for what is right, who don't just ignore what's around them he fought for us..he spoke for us he died for us, the man was an enigma his words continue onfor An individual who breaks a law
if the Bible says there will always be the poor among us., then there is some tweeking to the dream of a entire nation being not poor....some will be just poor...but maybe most can be not poor
We all know it is the past and it is not any of our fault! but just looking at the past, poor black people and i am disgusted by white people in the past. it is true
Our young men spoke with dignity and grace back in those days we need to get back to that passion today in 2023!!
I feel Coretta's pain. It hurts really bad when you lose a loved one
That quote by the young kid...still gets to me.

MLKs message is washed away from our youth. It is replaced with anger and rage!
Joe O yeah cuz they tired of marching, that shit ain’t working
nobody commented since last year .😢
@Footsniffer51 Why? If he had beef then i would fuck him up properly. Black = auto-overpowered fighter? I don't think so.
