What do you guys think about Laura’s new pond?
As a Garden Answer subscriber, it was great to see another's view of the project. You are all just as amazing in this one! Laura has already taken us along on some new plantings around the pond and it is just a work of art. When gifted people come together this is what can be accomplished and it is just fantastic.

Like a symphony or a perfect dance! I am a new subscriber to your channel, I was brought here by Garden Answer. After watching several of your video's this week, this pond is my favorite. I love the evergreens and grasses that add some interest and intimacy to this private space. Brian you are such a thoughtful artist! I had no idea that you can swim in these rec ponds. Gives me something to think about. :)
I've been a subscriber to this channel since Laura's project with them a few years ago too. Really recommend the videos of Brian's tour of garden ponds and favorite koi pond because that's how I'd imagine what Laura's pond is gonna look like after the plants have established. It's amazing.
What a transformation of that space. We never thought we'd see something so cool and refreshing on Laura and Aaron's property because of their land and climate. It is absolutely beautiful. What teamwork to put this all together too. Great job to the team! We can't wait for you to go back and maybe put their original water feature back in and we'd also love for you to have a Q&A with them.

EPIC! I started following y'all when you created the pondless waterfall at GA. It was beautiful and so peaceful. I hated to see that one go but I know they have plans to use it somewhere else on the property. I love the way you did this one. It looks like it belongs and that is so important in any space but their space is different because it is high desert and you nailed it but still created a gorgeous waterfall with the rocks and giant stumps and such. Absolutely beautiful work that you and the aquascape "Dream Team" did. It will be hard to top this one! ❤

I came here because of Garden Answer, but I subscribed so I can continue to see the amazing projects you work on. Would love to have a pond someday, but in the meantime I will enjoy these lovely creations "long distance". What a beautiful and natural looking pond and wetlands you have created, and it will only get better as the plants settle in and Laura adds her finishing touches!

I’ve been waiting years for Garden Answer to put in a decent sized pond. I’ve watched you and the other Aquascape pros work your magic for several years, too. I always had hope the groups would do a collab., which did happen a couple of years ago(small but beautiful water feature). I was still happy. But, THIS, this is E P I C in the Garden Answer world!!! Mahalo for taking us on a beautiful journey with this pond project. New home, hen house, acquired properties, The Hartley, flower/she shed, multi gardens…then this pond. Ahhhhh! The happiness I feel is beyond measure. Again, mahalo for taking good care of Laura, Aaron and ‘ohana. This journey was so much fun to watch. This build was one of the best I’ve seen. What an amazing bunch of guy’s all working together. It was incredible. As a follower of Laura & Aaron’s channel, we knew this water installation was happening. The build up & excitement was intense. I could not believe how much you all achieved in 3 days. I was blown away, as were Aaron & Laura, & especially the kids. They are going to remember & enjoy it for many years to come. What an amazing team effort, you guy’s are awesome. 👏🏻😁💦
As a Garden Answer member and faithful watcher I loved seeing another aspect of her pond install. We have a Koi pond so this was especially fascinating to watch.

As GA subscriber for more than 5 years, this is a monumental step for Laura & Aaron to include a bigger water feature with your Aquascape team, Brian. The notion of a hidden pond among the berm from what was a very unused flat corner of their home is purely AWESOME. The joy and curiosity on Benjamin & Samantha’s face make it all more special. Great team and collaboration from your side, Brian. When you 2 positive thinking parties together, you get magic 🥰

I've followed Garden Answer for some time and know that Laura likes to work on projects independently. That she willingly gave over the reins to you tells how much she trusts you. I'm delighted that you gave her the secret garden space she wanted. The entire pond area is fantastic. The way you incorporated the boulders and contoured the berms makes it seem as though we are in "the hills" near their town which she talks about. You all made this feel natural. So beautiful!

I loved it all, but knowing where to place all the rocks so the water flows down and around them and the extra addition of the trees and tree stumps in the water, it’s amazing. Can’t wait to see what Laura adds to make it more amazing. You guys do amazing work.

How can you pick a favorite part? Oh my goodness, it's all so magical. There should be a water feature in everyone's yard. Sure makes my little DIY 1500 gallon pond look DIY, lol. But we've had it 20+ years and the fish are the best part in ours. That is state of the art. xoxTX
