A visit to OKINII Sushi Restaurant on Thompson St. West Village NYC Dec 2023 w Bill Baker

Been going to "The Village" since my friend Joe's mom (Camille Arata) took us in the early 80's for "hippie clothes" for our band and Hendrix "Bootleg" records! I continued going for the records, movie posters, clothes, etc and I still do!! Sadly most of those places are gone but few good ones remain. Here's my favorite stop for sushi and some beers, OKINII Sushi Restaurant! Right at 216 Thompson Street, next to "Generation Records" and a couple blocks from "Village Tattoo!". Just around the corner from the store I got my first two Hendrix bootleg records at. Enjoy this look at a great place and some memories from going all these years! My camera wasn't focusing on me but thats ok I look better blurry these days.... -Bill B
