M&M'S Triple Layer Cookie Cake

This fun and festive cookie layer cake is perfect for celebrations big and small.

Total Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 16 servings
Ingredients:
2 pkg (1.35 oz each) Crispy M&M’s, divided
1 pkg (17.5 oz) vanilla sugar cookie mix
3/4 cup prepared vanilla frosting
Instructions:
1. 1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Chop half of the Crispy M&M’s; set aside.
2. 2. Prepare cookie mix according to package directions. Stir in chopped Crispy M&M’s.
3. 3. Divide into 3 portions. Press each portion into 6-inch round on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown around edges and tops are set. Let cool completely.
4. 4. Transfer frosting to piping bag fitted with star tip. Pipe decoratively around edge of one cookie and garnish with some of the reserved Crispy M&M’s; set aside.
5. 5. Spread frosting over remaining cookies. Sprinkle with remaining Crispy M&M’s. Stack cookies on serving plate. Top with reserved decorated cookie.
Tip: Substitute your favorite sugar cookie mix for vanilla sugar cookie mix if desired.
