Any A4 or A5 from that era should be ok. I bought a complete stalk with light switch etc including cruise controls, then removed the cruise control part and screwed it on to my original stalk. The other I'd bought would fit ok, I just preferred to keep the original. It was easy to do. If you can find just the cruise control switch, you could just buy that. You then have to cut the space for it in your cowling, but easy to do a neat job if you use a bit of patience.

From what I remember it was possible to plug the connector wire on the wrong way around, so check that. Other than that, I could only guess you have a faulty switch.
How did you manage to find out which is the correct stalk you needed for your vehicle? I have a 2012 A5. Thanks

Can this work on a Audi Q5 2010?
I'd imagine so. I think it's the same software up until 2017.
