I wonder if anyone else has tried to compare the Genesis & SNES versions. Heck, the soundtrack alone has quite a bit of differences in them. Like, entirely different vibes even for the same melodies!
I remember playing this. I'm in the us so it was just Marko. I lived in Pittsburgh at the time so I'm unsure if it was on the Sega channel. I think it was a blockbuster thing. I never got past the second level. It's still surreal. I'm an engineer now working on my own game console. I'm talking to outclass the PS5 and using essentially the expansion bay on the Sega Genesis. They'll still be stand-alones available too. But upgrading the Sega Genesis just to rub salt into Sony's wounds. They pissed me off. I'll be starting my own long play channels to essentially show off it's technology and backwards compatibility to Sega Genesis games from our childhood. I'm sure when it takes off Im sure I can work out some license or something for cartridge tech and upgrade it. If the need raises. My console will not only outclass the PS5 but essentially do things the PS5 can't do. Leave the console essentially unlocked so no need for hacks/mods unless its up to the purchaser.
There were 2 versions that this came out for on Super Nintendo. Same game. Different names. Different companies. I wondered if they ever collided into each other later.
Not bad, but this game has the sound that I always dreaded in Sega games, it suffers from the Ren and Stimpy style sound where it sounds really cheap. I prefer the sound in Earthworm Jim, Sonic, Megaman, Streets of Rage, Ernest Evans etc..
