      @@BobbyAngmalaysia thanks for replying!
      The 'everything' that i mean is of course excluding wear and tear..
      Because on 8:55 and 9:00 in this video you got mentioned that "for example, car got issue dont even know what happen, then they tell you something that you never heard off before, but its covered"... so i thought cover everything that is NOT wear and tear..
      Another example is.. in this video, steering rack and column with motor is covered... when i check on their website and with them , they mentioned is not covered for used car.. im not sure if the Alphard in this video is used or recon car
      Anyway, if i buy a 328i , definitely i will buy GMR ACE warranty also.. at least most of the major items/ components is covered.
      By the way.. chill la..bobby.. 😊this is my 1st time hunting for used car ma... still a newbie.. but not yet "siao".. if i Siao already, i get siao car like BMW M5 e60 liao lo😂...
      i learnt a lot from your video about new cars , used cars, recon cars, and this 3rd party warranty... i dont know about GMR until you made this video😄

    does the warning on how overheating could potentially void warranty in the booklet? 3-5 minutes is too short. those light never come everyday, so we might miss to see it. And the overheating might arise not on startup, but during on road. Nobody take a glimpse on meter every few seconds

    Wonder any AP importers in Malaysia bring in new JDM cars coz so far only heard of recond cars. Worse still is some buyers thought recond cars = new cars, just that the year of manufacture is not current year but in fact they are paying substantial amt of money to buy a mij used car, recond = refurbished used car nia. Why can't the importers bring in new JDM cars to our market instead of recond?

    • @siekailaw1867
      @siekailaw1867 7 років тому

      Jeff Sia it is totally 2 different types of AP for new or used & the duty paid for the vehicle on new car AP is tremendously higher. Hence why we in Malaysia only get reconditioned imports

They will advise me to change oil again because i seldom drive when i send back for sth else. so bobby we shd change 5k or 35k? or change it when msg pops out?

    • @BobbyAngmalaysia
      @BobbyAngmalaysia  7 років тому +1

      +keeekeee engine oil to me 5k or 10k should be ok if you use the highest quality one (shell 0w30 ect) and gear oil change every 35k to protect it. Dont forget there's actually aircond compressor oil, axle oil etc... all those if change accordingly protects the car. Brake fluid, steering fluid, radiator coolant etc...

      My review : cons = low ground clearance so speedbumps are hell, front seats are bucket; great for driver
      but not for passenger because of the huge side bolster prevents ur arms from reaching
      the armrests. black wood trim allows dust particles to be easily visible. brakes are not
      responsive nor powerful enough despite its big & ventilated dotted disk. AC will stay
      in recirculation mode for 25min only so u will smell the smoke from outdoor then have
      to press the button again.
      : pros = feature-packed, handling
      Things worth noting = test drive at high speed & check the tyres fitted; make sure not 'all season' because it has limitation with high speed so mine when i 1st collected was fitted with it so around 110km/h & above already shaking. Changed to 'summer' tyres then can go above 200km/h easily, TPMS make sure it shows the readout of ur tyre pressure. Mine had to claim back to the dealer because the sensors at the wheel has been removed when they put a new set of tyres, Rear tyre noise is very loud because its a very wide tyre, Check the door thunk when closing because u might feel that the thunk is so so & inconsistent between doors compared to UK spec which is assembled in germany hence a consistent & a super solid door thunk, If u come from FWD u will feel that this car is very rear-heavy at 1st its like ure towing something at the back but its completly natural for a RWD.
      The reason that i chose the japan spec because the interior condition is better & japanese people drive less because of their superb public transportations whereas UK people travel a lot because their point A to B is very far.

    I will give you a task - browse ads in carlist and find recond car in Malaysia without counterfeited odometer readings. :) mission impossible.... Heck even dealers cannot provide proof, just use standard excuses like "we have no docs" "it was done in UK or JP before shipping to us" and it's just because stupid people buying KM and not car. How stupid you should be if you believe that 6 years old car from UK can have 50k KM (yes KM and not miles - even tough UK uses miles) on odometer...

    • @BobbyAngmalaysia
      @BobbyAngmalaysia  7 років тому +65

      it's fairly easy. when i bought my audi, i asked the dealer to give me a copy of the export papers where the mileage is stated. Then i use that to maintain my car instead as a guide. 98000km? Then you will know that you need to change the timing belts, water pumps, injectors, spark plugs, fuel pumps, service the air cond compressors, flush the engine, change the transmission oil, axle oil, brake fluids, steering fluids, air cond compressor oil, every conssumable items must be changed if you're nearing that mileage.
      Another thing i wanna say is attitude. Malaysians who shout out loud "all dealers are liars, change mileage yada yada" what to do? Consumers like you and me ARE POOR. We Malaysians are cheap skates, NO MONEY, WANT TO ACT RICH. Buy AP cars but pretend like big boss walk into Lexus demand this deman that. Honestly speaking, if so lansii walk into OEM showroom buy new la right?
      So i have to say this - the dealers are doing us CHEAP CONSUMERS a favor by giving us an option. No money? Buy used car, don't complain. If it weren't for them you think we have FJ Cruiser to buy? You think we have Audi S4 RS5 RS6 to gawk at on the streets?
      Malaysian consumers:
      New car - too expensive
      AP car - i dont trust
      Used car - condition i dont like
      DIUUUU go MRT la shut up and Grabcar. Sekian terima kasih.

Back when she owned a Nissan teana, there were times when an engine warning light came but she never cared about it although me and my father warned her several times until one day, a gasket actually blew up. I also had a friend who destroyed his clutch disc in his wira and another who didn't bother to change his brake pads until he almost killed an old lady once.
