      Thanks for the feedback, glad to hear it was useful. I loved the car but my wife needed something more powerful for her job

    I've driven 4 of these, with different engines, 1.0 zetec ecoboost, 1.6 diesel and 1.2 petrol. Cracking little cars! They feel very nimble through the corners even though some of the engines are underpowered as you say and the steering can feel a little anaesthetised. At the end of the day though they're a little city car so aren't gonna set the world alight but they're very good at what they do. Running costs are low and you can pretty much maintain them yourself (well, as much as you can for modern cars). I enjoyed driving them much more than my 2011 MK3 tdci Focus which felt like a Challenger 2 tank in comparison and had reliability issues (namely fuel pump and overheating issues). I have now got rid of that and like yourself have now gone for an old banger again and have an old Audi A4 B6 with the pd130 lump in it.

      Thanks for the comment, interesting to hear you've gone for a PD130 as well. We've now had our Golf PD130 for 12 months since I sold the Fiesta. No regrets and it's still going strong for a 17 year old car

    Is there much wind and road noise on this car ?

      I found it pretty quiet noise wise. Engine could be a little noisy at high revs but rest of car was quiet

    Speak up a bit on videos man, I can’t hear everything you’re saying, this is a detailed review but if you can’t hear what you’re saying, that detail will go over people’s heads

    I made the huge mistake of buying one of these after 6 years of trouble free motoring in 2002 Ford Focus. The fiesta hasn’t even covered 30,000 miles and is literally falling apart. The build quality is shocking. Interior is coming apart daily. The suspension has given me no end of problems. Engine is terrible. I regret not keeping the old focus. I will not be buying another ford.

      I only owned mine for 3 weeks before selling and switched back to a Golf that I've now had for 2.5 years

      @@ajvwWhy did you sell it after 3 weeks? Was it because u needed a better car for the motorway(

    • @ajvw
      @ajvw  20 днів тому

      @@MrIDGAF yes, I found it just didn't have enough power to easily accelerate on the slip road. Having come from a VW diesel it was much more powerful so I ended up getting another VW

    You'd be better off buy a used Focus. Noticeably better car.

      Focus is a different size though.
