Hi this is actually about as far as we go as Medical Assistants when it comes to ICD-10 coding. If you’re looking for more detail, I recommend maybe searching for some advanced coding videos
Do you happen to understand how incident-to billing works for medical assistants?? MAs can’t get NPIs so my psychiatric practice is trying to figure out how to bill for my services since I’m the very first medical assistant to work for this non-profit organization

Hello Ms. K I emailed you don’t think you got to it yet but I just started a MA program and it’s only a 5 month program definitely fast. I just wanted to know do you think it’s a good idea to watch your videos before the information is learned?
Hey! I’m still getting caught up in my emails… I will read and respond to more between tonight and tomorrow… but to answer your question, you can hold off on watching the certification reviews for now. I only say that because I don’t want you to get overwhelmed. I have some lectures on the channel that you can check out if you’d like. Maybe as you go through those topics in your class you can also check out my videos. For example, when you get to the module where you are learning about the blood system, maybe you can check out my video on the blood system as well. Another example is when you are getting close to going on externship, you can check out my externship videos. Ultimately it’s up to you if you want to watch all of them now. I just don’t want you to get overwhelmed. Does that help? Excellent question, btw! I may answer this on a video as well
