Hi Mark, great learning videos, thanks for sharing. Out of all your presets in Betaflight, which one is good for a 5" quads and for 3" cinewhoops for just long range and smooth flying. I don't race, i just lke cruising and mellow flying. I'm running BF 4.3.2.
The motors could ramp to 100% on arming. THAT SAID, BF now has a safety catch. If you turn on bi-directional, and the signal back from the ESCs is not detected, it will not arm.
would one of your presets be good for my cinebot30.. that thing has mad shakes when off throttle coasting down to a lower altitude? great content i want to learn how to tune my quads better
@@uavtech So I've got a 3.5 in aura with 2700 KV motor 6s and I'm running 3052 props with a decent pitch. It's a clean build. It's a new build. Everything on it is new I crashed. One of the motors was bad so I changed it to a new one. Went for a spin and the vibrations was there and I don't know exactly why it's it's causing vibrations. I've got bi-directional d shot on with blue. Jay config any recommendations that could fixed the oscillations or the vibrations in the OSD? With filters thank you 🙌
Betaflight RPM and Dynamic notch Filters are insane as hell! I mean i turned the LP1 off and my D-Term Slider is at "2" my props are beaten up BUT the damn thing flies smooth as hell, oh i have forgot to say thats the filter tune on my 65mm Whoop which is made from PLASTIC!!!
Propably I’m getting old. But i find the background music very distracting. And since English is not my native language it makes what you are saying much more difficult to understand. My five cents…
I agree the levels are too close together and it is just not needed. Imagine giving a speech on a technical subject and playing music in the background at the same time. Folks will not pay attention.
Thanks!
Thank you for this! ive changed frames and im hearing the swarm when i liftoff. ill be trying this filter for the first time :D
Excellent tip, Mark! Thanks!!! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mark!
Great video and great (layman’s) explanation!
Really noce explanaition! So now we need a video about the other checkpoint of low and high frequency 😊😊
just use what is in the presets. they restrict the range the notchs can work within.
Helo how about esc Firmware Am32, like a NeutronRC, this filter support?
Thank you for sharing. I learn something new today!!!!
How does RPM filter impact the O3 stabilization? They recommend not using 24khz but 48khz and above.
it doesn't. It sounds like the camera sensor not being fastened to the inside of the housing well for the 03 is the main issue.
I hope you would do more video about 3.5 inch cinewhoop . Thank you
My axis cinewhoop started flying bad after I changes from RYP to RP . Any idea why is that ?
thanks Mark!

Hi Mark, what happens if I switch on Bi-directional DSHOT in a quad that doesn't have the firmware to support it?

I prefer to use dynamic notch only unless the build is a resonant headache then it's RPM to the rescue
Modern BLHeli_S supports bi-drectional DSHOT? Cool! Thank you for the heads up, Mark :-)
bi-directional DSHOT.
I put this on a 3 inch build and had instant fly away issues. Not sure what's going on.
pick low build filter and/or move the Master Multiplier down by 0.5 points.

Cinelog
@@uavtech i have the cinebot30'
Correct. Cinelog preset. Make sure props-in config.
@@uavtech ok thanks.i will have to change motor direction because they come props out stock

Dunno, I enable stuff just to get the dynamic idle which I find more useful than the RPM filtering 🤷♂😄
nowadays, i usually disable rpm filter. dynamic notch is working so good. i also noticed sometimes motors a bit warmer with rpm filter on.
👍🏻👍🏻

I turn off lpf1 and lpf2 filtering on whoops they rarely have low spectrum noise because of the size and high revving motors.
@@cinemoriahFPV im running a mpu6000 on a f4 its downsampling from 8k to 4k is it still good to turn off the lpf2?
