Firewalking Festival 2017 | Chakravarti Kottai | Sri Mariamman Temple

The Chakravarthi Kottai is one of the less talked about rituals in the lead up to the firewalking festival. Arjuna’s eldest son Abhimanyu employed the Chakra Vyugam (Chakravyuha) battle formation and entered the Kaurava’s fortress. However, Abhimanyu did not know how to exit the fortress and was eventually killed.

Can some one add, the geographical place (country, city etc) and month this festival is done. Is this Mariamman Temple in Singapore??

Thanks for the upload. I've been attending the festival every year since young but moved off to Nyana Markam. But the rituals still amaze me.
