  • Today I am showing how I add Palo Santo to the soap in 4 ways to assure the authentic scent comes through.
Palo Santo is a tree native to South America that is known for its aromatic properties and has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and spiritual practices. Here are some potential benefits of using Palo Santo:
Aromatherapy: Palo Santo has a sweet, woodsy fragrance that is believed to promote relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety. Burning Palo Santo incense or using essential oil derived from the wood can create a calming atmosphere and help promote a sense of well-being.
Spiritual practices: Palo Santo is often used in shamanic and spiritual ceremonies to cleanse and purify energy, promote positive intentions, and create a sacred space. It is believed to have a protective and grounding energy that can help clear negativity and promote healing.
Insect repellent: Palo Santo contains natural insect-repelling properties, making it a useful tool for keeping bugs at bay without the use of harmful chemicals.
Anti-inflammatory properties: Palo Santo contains compounds that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, which may make it useful for reducing pain and inflammation.
Respiratory benefits: The smoke from burning Palo Santo has been used to help alleviate respiratory conditions such as colds, flu, and asthma by opening up the airways and promoting easier breathing.

Hi Patrick. I have never heard of Palo Santo let alone smelt it. In my minds eye though and because of your description I have a fair idea now. Wow you certainly hit the unusual this time. Big hugs sweetheart and tickles to the critters. X x x

This is a super tutorial! Does the Palo Santo wood need to be sterilized in alcohol (or by another method) before steeping in oil? Thanks in advance ❤🙏
