How to make rose absolute? There are two steps for making rose absolute. This video demonstrated a simplified method of making rose absolute. It is easy to do at home.
Two ways of making rose oils include distillation and solvent extraction. Solvent extraction has higher yield than distillation because solvent extraction has more chemicals than distillation.
I would love to share knowledge about botanical herbs including its benefits, how to use and extract backed by scientific studies. I am also excited in sharing hands on operation of extracting different herbs including leaves, roots, flowers, barks, and whole plants.

Low temp distillation. If available vacuum distillation is better to remove the solvent. Most simple way is let it vaporize in air or a water bath.

Thank you for your comment. Alcohol extraction is an old technique to extract oil from herbs together with other chemicals. That is why alcohol is often used for tincture making. Difference is for oil extraction pure or very high concentration alcohol is used but tincture is normally medium level like vodka. As I talked in the video solvents like hexane is used for Rose concrete making. But hexane is toxic which is not home friendly and that is why it is replaced with high concentration alcohol.
