You have the best tutorial on UA-cam thus far. Thank you, first time putting together a 3D printer this made it so much easier
Pls post 3d printing videos
I had so much frustration with this printer! I got no instructions and had to follow videos to assemble it and it took me a good 8 hours, my benchy came out flawless , but shortly afterward I couldn't reproduce a single good printing! It now sits in the corner of the room and is for sale for extremely cheap if someone wanted it! I switched to the Ender 3 pro and almost cried because of the sheer beauty of it's prints! (Note: I am new to 3D Printing so the Tevo was a rough introduction to the 3d printing world)
Thank you for giving an honest review and doing 3D printer views again!!!
Man, you just saved my life! And my son's :D I've bought this printer, and the instructions manual... does not seem to be the good one! Excellent tutorial ! Thanks, thanks... and thanks again ! Without you, it would have been just impossible to build this machine!
wait.... you got an instruction manual?
@@nemmiezene there was one.
@@chriskemper6601 No. I got mine refurbished. There was no manual.
@@nemmiezene there was a file to download on the internet (i've got mine from banggood) and i remember there was a instruction PDF - it was 2020. I never build it. Low energy and hard assembly (and probably instruction...) Caused me to give up and put it into a room to never look at it again. This year i took it out, assembled and wow 3D printing is cool. Sadly i just have a technical problem - hopefully the support will be able to help me! Found a nee great hobby
@@chriskemper6601 I think my partner had looked up the manual but it was simpler and less frustrating to watch a video on it. I'm happy you enjoy it. 😊 It is very fascinating and there's endless possibilities for what you can do. I hope you keep learning and loving your new hobby.
In another video, I saw that the missing part was underneath a piece of foam inside. It was totally covered and may be missed.
Another great video vlad, love them
This tutorial should mention about regulation of adjusting eccentring nuts too. I recommend you to read firstly assembly manual pdf from green Taranula
I bought the first tevo tarantula years ago. I check every now and then, to see how the company is progressing. Homers...interesting.
WTF???!!!! This printer worked perfect with the right bracket missing! This is beyond amazing! And with improperly tensioned X belt! Unbelievable! It's like having a car pass all tests with 3 wheels!
I just bought one and the two ribbon cables to the front display are too short. Simply are not long enough. Any suggestions.
35:27 Somebody got beheaded and their entire family butchered at Tevo because of this. : /
"YOU HAD 1 JOB TO DO!!!!!"
I believe the idler pulley should be installed with the screw head down, threads up (according to the manual). That way the bolt doesn't stick down past the 20mm extrusion and interfere with the main electronics box.
hello, again Mr. Vald
Thanks for the review . We put the manual in SD card , but seems many customers card burn . we are upload the files in our home page now .
@FireFighter84 - Or not because, you know, they are environmentally conscious.
Hey tevo do you ship to India?? (For ordering printer from your website)I was planning to get tarantula pro
Tevo please reply
I really think the part is not missing, the part is hidden under a foam, you can see it on other unboxing video.
Perfect!!!10/10...thank you m8!
My Tarantula Pro had so many issues. Bad belts, bad wheels and so on.
THANK YOU; ABSOLUTE LIFE SAVING!!! without you i would never have made it and you made it fun to build, thank you so much.
i btw nearly destroyed my printer in the first seconds of running by moving it to the top and the cables werent long enough. only because i saw the cables on the top were colliding i stopped it and saw the other cables were nearly pulled out by force... it still works - i hope it didn't damage them... i've got a thermal runaway error E1 when printing my test prin t (which was a different than yours) and now im de-motivated again. but maybe im trying to fix it. i destroyed 3 or 4 screw heads when building this thing, they probably are of bad quality. it was always the same type of screw which broke and i had to glue the allen key nto the screw head in order to make it make it tight. would i still recommend it? not sure. if i have to disassemble for a reason it will be catastrophic. if not - this thing probably would be nice.
Just Vlad Did you get the rest of the printer so you could finish assembling it? If you did, how do the prints come out?
Another great video, thanks Vlad! Lots of potential for this printer which unfortunately failed in achieving..Missing parts notwithstanding, the price point is too high for the amount of work required to assemble, for $10 more you can get an Ender 3v2 which is a breeze to assemble compared to this one..
Bro, nice tutorial and all but you could've edited the mistakes or put a notification so that we don't all do the same mistakes
FOR REAL! 😥 He even apologized, but-... Why apologize? If he really was sorry, he would've edited that out.
If you are familiar with assembling 3d printers this is a piece of cake to assemble, however for a novice without an instruction book this is a very difficult build.
The feet’s looks like door stoppers nice tevo😂👍
Tevo bait and switch. RuiRaptor has a great Tarantula Pro assembly video.
good night I have a tevo tarantula RS and I have a problem with the motor that pulls the filament. Whenever I need to extrude, it does the opposite, when it is to pull it pushes and when I press to push it pulls. Could you help me, please?
Does anyone know how to upload firmware to it I’ve been struggling for ages with a extruder that goes the wrong way
excellent tutorial, may thanks Vlad! I was looking for a cheap 3D printer to temporarily fill my needs and it seems this one will do the job. liked and subbed :)
I love your videos man good and honest reviews do you pay for most of your printers??
THX Vlad for the review, got one now!!!
But have one question. - the original SD card does not have the firmware, and i search in web and didn't find - for this model with MKS SGEN_l V1 - only find in tevo for MKS Gen -
Any idea where get it?
THX in advance, and great reviews!!!
For some reason my extruder is going the wrong way when auto homing can anyone help
I have a problem with the message "Error MAXTEMP: E1. Printed halted, please reset 'Has anyone had the same and is able to help?
Great Video! One question for you: is better this at 130 € or the Tronxy XY-2 pro at 150€?
Hello, i have an issue on my Homers/Tevo - Tarantula Pro - 3D Printer , when i home my Z is not 0 like my ender 3, but it goes z +5mm , what can i do in this situation?
I'm struggling with mine, it won't print. :(
How big is it?
Manz probably has so much packing foam at this point 😂 he gets like a good pound every unboxing video smh
i just wanna ask about the kingroon 3d printer is it really that long to load heat and extrude a filament ? im just new to 3d printer so i just wanna test
You printed ABS?
what modelling software works with it?
3d printer noobie here. I may be investing sorta soon, my question is....what software lets you make your own designs?
Tinkercad.com is a good place to start. Its browser based and free to use.
@@JustVlads are there any limits in what you can print/design excluding obvious dimensions?
Sorry I am giving you a thumbs up for your video but not for the printer
👌👍
Homer?...Doh...
Yeah RS packaging, but the RS features a double Z, touch screen and a 32 bits mother board...
Neither of your links work. I wouldn't be surprised if they had pulled this model from the market as so many people have had so many problems with it.
the SD card has data, but i couldn't read it on Windows system. was able to read with a Linux system
including a fairly complete assembly manual. i didn't discover until after I had assembled....
Second
Great video as usual, not keen on the printer
I would spray paint the plastic different colour, the orange is too flamboyant for me
I don’t like weird y axis pulley design and heatblock. Plastic should melt just before exiting the nozzle. In this one, it’s probably melting way before.
But anyway, prints were acceptable, but nothing special.
You broke my printer, why can't you make honest setup but make amendments. I can't unscrew screw from 36:30
Thanks Vlad, subbed liked and prob gonna send you some money somehow!
can you tell me what you would recommend to replace the missing or faulty parts? i went ahead and bought this to do a follow along build, because why not. these need homes not landfills.
Nevermind, i followed along with this video and the manual that was hiding in the SD card and it came out fine. Still have a bit to work on but your vid was invaluable, thank you so much!
You might as well just build/make your own 3D printer at this point.....
Tevo has one of the worst customer service experience. I would stay away.
Trying the best .
Tevo took a turn for the worst, plastic? No way. Sorry ill keep looking
The bracket on the hotend needs to be flipped 180 degrees so the screws to mount to the carriage cant be seen when hotenf assembly in place :)
You are right, I put it in backwards.
24:40 (save for tomorrow)
save: 35:06 & 37:40
So we are just about at 17:20 on the timer and they is no instructions you don’t have the right tools to put it together I am at a loss to see what good about this 3D Printer if you had not put one together before I could see someone really struggling to do it this company really needs to sort it self out I found this printer on line for £133 but if you spent a little bit more you could get a Ender 3Pro for £153 and you less hassle
namor isats you can buy a Ender 3Pro for £161 on the creality own site right now and I would buy a Ender 3Pro and not the rubbish I saw on this video
Dude you must have a complete printing farm by now. How is the print quality good ? The stringing is mad.
They need to rename this printer to "Homers PERSEVERANCE" because this machine is not recomend to novice.
I spend 2 days until solve my issues with this machine. For novice I recomend anycubic I3 mega, that was my first printer and was not too complicated to print.
I wouldn't touch Tevo/Homers with a 100 foot pole. The company cannot be trusted. Currently I am dealing with an employee and the company CEO who have ignored requests to provide a refund after repeated delays, lies and excuses for a printer that never shipped. Their solution is to take your money and pretend you don't exist. Sadly I now have to deal with the local Zhanjiang police and an attorney to hold these assholes accountable.
If that's the sort of bullshit you want to deal with, go for it. But I would recommend that you spend your hard earned cash with a company that is more easily held accountable when it decides to play games.
What do you do with all the printers you get sent to review?
I just bought a 3d printer not a good fully featured one but enough to fill the need to 3d print.Still waiting for it to arrive probaly stuck somewhere in warehouse because of the holidays season in my country. It's stuck for days now and i cannot wait to get my hand on it
What does it acc do like does just print out things or....
Cut the zip ties from PPF cube then try to print. Works or not
Tried the extra tube that came with the printer also same problem. The tolerance was too tight.
What 3D printer do you recommend for a beginner????
Flashforge adventure 3
Junk !!!!
You got a link for that tree frog, I wanna print that little fella

@@JustVlads cheers dude keep up the good work
This is ridiculous! I am missing several parts and the skrews for the LCD panel don't fit. I can't even comment on the build quality because I couldn't finish the build.
Did you have interruptions issues? I bought 1 recently, but i saw a video from a youtuber that have this problem. I'm worry about it.
can you give us a link to where you purchase your fillament? I really like that gold!!
hola amigo compre la maquina pero mi memoria esta mal podrias compartir los archivos porfavor o alguna configuracion para cura. gracias
Can someone send me a link to that spaceship? (or just its name) thx :)
You can get assembly manual from tevo website. I
you should get and review a original Prusa mk3
Epic! Thx!
What type of ptfe tubing did you use to replace the one it came with?
