I hate when youtubers do videos like this without posting their video card or hardware specs. "This improved my video, GTX1080", duh, are you using an old piece of junk or a new RTX30xx or RTX 40xx?? If you don't post that, then it is a waste of time.
Across the board there are certain settings you want to have enabled/disabled in Rust no matter what your specs are. I made sure to go into detail if you are experiencing frame drop using “x” setting drop it down ect. If you want to know, I have these parts: Ryzen 9 7950x3D 32GB DDR5 6000mhz RAM RTX 3080Ti 4tb m.2 SSD 1000w 80+ Gold PSU
If you want to take the FOV a step further you can set a bind to switch the FOV from 70 and 90 so that if you need to spray long distance you can get a slight zoom and if you are fighting close range or roaming and need to spot people keep it at 90
Thank you for this video, you helped me a lot. I used to have 30-40 fps and such delays, and now I have 60-70 fps and no delays. My specs: GTX 950 i5 6400 12GB RAM

I didn't really like the video you gave all of these setting values and for some reason you never said why you put it at that value for some. I was wondering for shadow cascades how the player models shadow looks. With the shadow cascades to off. Or if it effects it in any way? In Cs:Go 2 you have to set your shadow to 0 in client and then u go into settings via notepad and change it so u can see crip shadows of players. Gives huge advantage with minimal performance. Whereas if you had you shadows at max you would still get crisp shadows but at huge performance decrease. I feel like by 'Best' you just showed us what you use and haven't put much thought, analysis or explanation into it. You just used experience for your justification. I still found the video helpful.
