Good job man -- my BTKR is schedule for a little less than 6 weeks so it is really good to see your videos from last year.
    Thanks.

I see my surgeon in a couple of weeks, and I am hoping he will do both knees at the same time. My knees started degrading in 1999. Osteoarthritis . 16 years later I can barely walk. Three times over the past 16 years I was close to having replacements done, but I was laid off from each job a short time after visiting the surgeon. Unable to find work at 60 I waited until now when I qualified for Medicare. At one time I was very fit; aerobics, bike riding, and walking. I appreciate you posting such positive information on recovery. I can do this!

You will feel so much better after the replacements. I gained about 15 lbs the last 6 months and had noticed the knees were hurting so I started dieting. I lost 6 lbs since January 1st and working to lose another 20 lbs. I am waiting for my Medicare to kick in 3 more years to get my shoulders done.

Thank you for posting this. My husband is going in for knee replacement next week. I've been looking for information about what the first week would be like.

You must be pumped so full of drugs to be able to walk like that just 4 days after a bilateral operation. I'm an extremely fit road cyclist and I had to use a stick for a whole 7 days after a relatively simple unicompartmental op., but I was only taking paracetamol as a pain inhibitor and it took me 15 days before I was able to ride a short journey on my bike. I think you're videos might be giving folks false hopes for a quicker than normal recovery rate when in fact the majority of post knee op. patients take many painful weeks or even months of physio to recover, not to mention the numerous sleepless nights. Just my 2c.

Nope. If you ask my marital art students they will tell you that I just push myself far more than others.

I agree. I think this should be reported. Totally false !!!
