A brewery in my area, takes their IPA and makes a whiskey. I have been reluctant to review it. I may have to knock the dust off it and try it again.

As a Brit, I have to get my Surly beers from Holland which is a pain but Furious is one of my faves, axe-man (the beer) and coffee bender are great too. The only IPA whisky I've seen over here is the Glenfiddich IPA Experiment but they actually made an IPA and a single Malt then did some barrel mixing and stuff rather than making the whisky off of the IPA wort like with this one. Thanks for the review and the sneaky peaky of the cutting room (axe pun intended).

I've tried some other bottles put out by Foundry using local beer from my area (Missouri) and they also had a strong banana note. They are interesting but they aren't great whiskey.
