I always use squid stuffed with pilli and wrapped with bait cotton. I have also had great success with a little lure scent on the squid. Thanks for making bottom meat they are my favourite tackle by far. #Gothebottommeat
Have bagged out many a times using these, and just the way you did it too! I always check my occy pots in the bay on my way out fishing, always get a fresh occy to kick the fishing off. I got video being bagged out at 7.30am with 3rd dhuie coming aboard. All on these. Obviously third dhiue went back. Just like I do with these. Rock on.
Redthroat stripbait fillets up north work a treat up north for cobia and coral trout! By far my favourite bait, or a whole small western king wrasse down south!

Squid on a 20g for inshore Perth metro our go to. Have caught everything from a 70cm flatty to harlequin and pinks etc. Used a 60g at Shark Bay for a week in July, squid produced the blue line emperor, but occy did the damage on pinks.
Anything fresh caught from the same area - wrasse, S baker or skippy, but the cuttlefish candle (long feeding tentacle) is dynamite if you can get one 👍🎣
What are your thoughts on using some like this surf fishing for Gummy Shark? My concern is holding the bottom without a star sinker, depending on the waves. Interested if anyone has used these for this purpose and how they went.
I wonder how these will work with bonito strip's or mullet up here from Gero to Karratha , I'll have to get some and find out thanks' guy's for a great idea.

Fresh piece of Cuttlefish for me. Demersals can't resist it on the bottom meats 👍.

Squid/cuttlefish is what I landed my first and only dhuie on.
I love using squid and occy but sometimes I use some herring strips I’m a really big fan of u guys wish I could win that would be crazy
So much plastic vac sealing for 3 drops! Bait up out on the water, how much time you saving, seriously.

My favourite bait is fresh caught wrasse.
I like to keep it simple by using a whole freshly caught squid. It stays on the bottom meat well and certainly catches the fish
I love using bottom meats, my fav is using pilchard

Big slab of chicken breast does the treat it does get picked of quick but big fish love it too 👍

Mate they kill it, especially on reds, trout and rankin!
Can’t beat long occy leg with half the skin cut off so it doesn’t get full of water and add a strip of Sgt Baker with it
