Well Brett, went out and caught myself a bag doing just what you said. Found some sandholes on google, downloaded Fishranger, launched early, moved if I didn't catch any in 10 minutes, only berleyed after I caught fish, used squares of cuttlefish as bait on one of your #6 longshanks. Did the slow wind instead of sit and soak, and cast all around the boat. Left the squid and gummy rods at home. One of my best sessions ever. Thanks for the no-nonsense master class. Not a single toad to top it all off. I did use a tumbler bag though as I hate cleaning them when they are slimy.
that's Fantastic Mick , must feel like a boss right now , well done 😁😁
I just want to thank you for posting this. Using your rig style, switching to the long shank flashers and the technique constantly and slowly retrieving and pulling it along the bottom my catch rates and success have increased to the point where I’ve gone from catching a 5 on a good day to catching 10-15 and even bagged out for the first time on Sunday! Your legend Reedy. I’ve always been putting in the hours often fishing 2-3 times a week, just wasn’t getting the rewards. Now if only I could get onto the snapper like you do!
well done that great to hear , feel like your snapper wont be far away
Very enjoyable thanks Gentlemen cheers DJ
Glad to be part of the vid mate. Seems the viewers like it!
Thanks Justin 🍕🍕😆
Thanks guys fantastic show. I feel like now I can have a crack at the Whiting I know I need to be patient up with this information. I feel a bit more confident cheers for your help
Good luck hope you get onto a few 👍
That was awesome
Thanks boys
Keep them coming
Thanks 😊
Good stuff Reedy
Pissing myself laughing for the mention.
Blue banner pickled onions, keep the juice after eating them slice ya whito up and eat it after a few days.
Cheers mate
Good stuff
You are a wizard Brett! Love hearing your tricks 👍🏾🎣.
Thx Tom 🎣🎣
That was awesome guys. A heap of awesome tips for me. I’ve been struggling with toadies smashing me but I’ve been burlying hard so I’d get whiting the first couple of minutes and then nothing but toadies smashing my bait.
Also been using hairy back rigs, Squid strip and pippie cocktail and can’t bait it up fast enough for me and the young fella to keep our rods in the water. Going to switch up to longshank tingernoster style.
Do you have the longshanks with the flashers on them? Can only see them in your pre tied rigs.
Yeah we do available at your local tackle shop
Hey guys I'm new to fishing in general. I live closer to the top end of PPB and don't have the fortune of owning a boat. I understad you don't specialise in landbased fishing but where would you recommend in that area? Amazing, informative video, loved it thank you.
Beaches down the southern end in the evening into the night
Thanks boys great video
Possum the legend of western port!
Do you think that this would work on sand whiting we get up here in Sydney? Thanks for the tips.
In the dark yeah
Great video mate, so longshank size 6 or 4?
Size 4 I like but dosent really matter
@@ReedysRigs mate how about circle, same size 4 or doesn't really matter?
Size 6
Hi guys -can you review your volume -it appears the recorder on the camera is not picking up your voices correctly 😊
Good
And that’s the difference there, reedy bags out because his active on the rod, and old mate here probs catches 5-6 and calls it a day.
yeah sound pretty spot on :)
I’ve seen it first hand with one of my mates who crews with me he lets it sit all day where im constantly moving and find new spots with in the area I’ve anchored
Great show guys. Agree with no tumbler bag, it ruins the fish. Thee skin is the best part if you ask me. Brain kill too is a must. Cheers.
Where was the “be Maltese” step?
👍👍👍
