      After practically wearing out the video (and the mix on there is even better than this), I was expecting so much more from the Millennium DVD when it came out. The rough radio broadcast stuff floating around on the net at the time sounded so much more exciting.

    seeing love performances make me sad because I know I'll never be able to meet the band much less see them live. My dream in life is to perform with the manic street preachers.

    The bass players face when he sings, ‘Kevin Cater - Kaffir lover forever’ - he knows it’s the African N word equivalent, only way way worse, and notes that with a tentative, ‘yeah, we just said that to bring home the times and moments!’ look on his face.

    I don't know who Kevin Carter is but this is a great song in open G tuning.

      He was photographer who took a photo of a vulture eyeing a famine stricken child in Sudan struggling to get a UN feeding centre the child survived but Kevin Carter killed himself 4 months after winning the Pulitzer Prize in September 1994
