Glastonbury …let the Manics headline next year…they deserve it
after this brilliant set.
Always great festival band
MANICS headliners 2025 👏🏼
The Manics are humble lads, they dont mind playing on the Other stage in the afternoon. The music has always been the most important thing
james voice has held up and grown so much especially in the past 10 years. He sounds amazing, and Manics will always be my favorite band of all time.
He's one of the country's greatest vocalists, though I do think he's starting to lose some range in the last few years. Deserves his flowers after the last 30 years!
@@BladeV8 couldn’t of worded it better myself🏴🏴
Agreed❤
@@ediblekorn You could by writing 'couldn't have worded it better myself'. Hope this helps.
absolute legends. nothing more or less. legends
What a brilliant performance at Glastonbury - great vocals, brilliant guitar sound throughout.
Brilliant band! They still absolutely deliver! Love from Finland!
My favourite Glastonbury band this year
Great band, great song ❤️

Manics at their very best.
James sounds so good here damnnn
Wow…. Still blinking amazing after 25 odd years.. brilliant
Magnificent, one of my favourite songs of all time and they killed it. Love the Manics
Love this band! 👏👏👏
I still watch the Manics 1999 set from Glastonbury which was a nightime pre phone awesome show!
Always a class act.
Great! Love it! Peace!
Great guitar change..cool as
Pretty sure his Les Paul conked out . Loved the solo !
Timeless ✨️✨️👌👌👌👌
I saw them when they played Glastonbury in 2014. They were and always will fantastic! Xx

Magnificent !
Awesome boys, killed it ❤
James ageing like a fine wine ❤
One of the greatest songs ever written
Great song, great band!
Love the new ending to this great song
Excellent performance, James Dean Bradfield looks like he was born with a guitar in his hands.
So beautiful.. Always ❤
Fantastic!
Greetings from India, love this band.
Amazing tune
Love the manic especially nicky. Hes aged very fit ❤
Sounded great.
What a band
Still brilliant
Timeless Masterpiece ❤
This song has a message!
What an astute observation
Care to expand on that ludicrous comment
@@JoeyJoeJoe87 What... you *don't* think it has a message?
@@robotaverage Don't let the government lock you up and tell you you're non-essential.
No shit Sherlock 🙄🤦🏻♂️
Best guitar player alive xx
Amazing!!!!
Very nice!
Brilliant! But how about a few more shots of the rest of the band?
Bit late now mate
Another amazing sky as Manics play Glastonburgh
Still Amazing
Essa música é fantástica... ✌
um dos melhores temas de Rock da década de noventa sem duvida, classico que é sempre bom lembrar
Gibson broken, Eastman shines❤
Yeah!
As so many times in the past, once again in the current circumstances the song title says it all! Keep going Manics! (My My, Hey Hey, Punk Rock is here to stay.)
Great song and filming
Save our children from all evil 💖🙏
How do they look better now than 10/15 years ago?
Mantap nostalgia
Amazing performance all round. James and his tech dealing with the issue seamlessly. Shame on the director for ignoring Nicky Wire, the songwriter and bassist.
Cool guitar

The Manics got it right
Take me back. Still hope one day we'll know what happened to Richard. James still has it!
great to see a Baldwin on drums
👍
No sean moore on drums?
If your toilet’s like this, then your kitchen will be next. Thanks Des, me old mucker. That was funny. RIP mate.
Why They Wasn’t Headline ?
Didn't know Warren Gatland played drums for these cats.....
"Miksi jumalattomat saavat elää, vanheta, jopa voimassa vahvistua? Heidän sukunsa on vankkana heidän edessään, heidän jälkeläisensä heidän silmäinsä alla. Heidän kotinsa ovat rauhassa, kauhuista kaukana; ei satu heihin Jumalan vitsa. Hänen sonninsa polkee eikä turhaan, hänen lehmänsä poikii eikä kesken. Poikansa he laskevat ulos niinkuin lammaslauman, heidän lapsensa hyppelevät leikiten. He virittävät laulujaan vaskirummun ja kanteleen kaikuessa ja iloitsevat huilun soidessa. He viettävät päivänsä onnessa, mutta äkkiä heidät säikähytetään alas tuonelaan. Ja kuitenkin he sanoivat Jumalalle: 'Mene pois meidän luotamme, sinun teistäsi emme tahdo tietää. Mikä on Kaikkivaltias, että häntä palvelisimme? Ja mitä hyötyä meillä on siitä, että häntä rukoilemme?" - Job 21:7-15 - Raamattu 1933/1938
Can anyone in the know explain what was going on with his guitar? He was obviously signalling for a replacement whilst also trying to sing.
This song is timeless - no doubt about that. But what would I give if at least its lyrics were outdated..
So sad...
a lot of mulit tasking going on in this
Amazing how many big mouth, power to the people, anti-corporate, freedom lovers were very quiet three years ago. Music is one thing but don't give me your sham politics anymore.
WELSH DYNAMITE
The Future Teaches You To Be Alone
Beat that anyone?
It's taken years for Sean Moore to find an image, but by god hairy trucker seems to be it.
Put the weight back on
This song is a timeless hymn!! ❤❤
So true then and definitely know
Bitter sweet Simphony is my own personal, this collectively give power and sadness at the same time
James’s voice has aged like a fine wine! Iconic! Doing us proud as always ♥️🏴
This song is more relevant than ever! Fight the power!! Cos they are fighting us on every front, the pricks! Literally! 😊❤
Tell this to stupid Greeks, that today elected the same government that has been grinding them down the last 4 years with taxes, even higher prices in Electricity bills, and with every week even higher Supermarket goods’ prices, and with a government playing jokes on young people with part time jobs, and by telling lies that will rise their “tiny salaries “… I can pretty say that my country’s population sleeps stood up like the horses
🙏 ❣ 🙏 ❣ 🙏 ❣ 🙏 ❣
So True Keep fighting for Freedom !
I went to see the manics at the RAR gig in brockwell park. ( I’m watching on UA-cam) . Still relevant.let’s not tolerate this anymore
There is a poster which has this song’s title on it.
It’s from the Spanish war, showing a terrified child clutching a Teddy with bombs falling from the sky behind her.
Twitter & Facebook mask it as being “possibly” offensive to some.
When you consider what they will show….
one of the greatest songs of all time
It is very difficult for a band to sound so good live.. excellent... this song is incredible.. golden age of music..
more important today than ever before
One of the most beautiful folk songs ever written.
Now that’s what a real band should sound like!🤘🎸🏴
Heil satan mean support war and other evil doing
Loved the song as a kid, not understanding the lyrics. Love it even more now, knowing all thats going on in the world.
I’m exact same. This song came out when I was 9 and I loved it. Took on a whole new meaning as I got older
So do i
Gonna say, Christ this has aged well. What a message. It's not gonna be my kid, I'm telling ya. Saying that, we've already given it away. Job's done.
@@clementine2001not just!! It’s about not doing anything when tyranny takes hold!
The seamless change of guitar is awesome. Great Song!
They still got it ❤
Best performance and sound I´ve ever seen, they still got it.
The Manics did a terrific set! Was surprised how many great songs they've had! Didn't expect to love this gig as much as I did LOL Really enjoyed it.
"Fell into a vortex in a shell suit made of goretex,it fits wonderfully " sfa@!!!, Wales got an equal to Syd Barrett ❤❤❤😊
Going to see them in Cardiff next month ✌️
Amazing! Voice, sound, arrangements. I loved them in highscool 25 years ago. Now, even more, understanding better the messages they convey and so brilliant live performaces. I missed their concerts twice, the first time I was out of my town where they played the festival, the second time I missed their club concert in big city I shortly lived. F..k!
That's the thing about great poetry, it's multi-layered and you can take more than one meaning from it.
This is so beautiful it makes me want to cry. Long live Manics.
MSP. Great to hear these timeless classics, all over again. More please.
Great band and song. Nice to see the Welsh support with the flags. My daughter and I traveled from Florida to Silver Springs Maryland to catch them in concert last November. Suede kicked it off followed by the manics. Absolutely brilliant. Met a bunch of Brits there and we rallied around our flag. Bouncers were a pain though, not sure if the guys got to see us🏴🇺🇸
❤wales
🏴
So good !!! They sound amazing
Good thing I didnt want to watch Nicky during that...
Cameraman not a fan of Nicky Wire then? Hardly see him
Fantastic song. Also, smooth guitar change.
Love it ❤️. Bloke coped admirably with tech issues on his first guitar and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat!😊. Then again that's the Manics all over 😊. Yak e dah?🙌🙌🙌
Lots of people who turned a blind eye to the Tories treatment of people on benefits etc are now finding that this is true about THEIR children.
I bet you feel silly now. The Labour Party are taking away the freedom of speech while killing our pensioners.
Still sounding great. Great performance!
Some things take a while to fully appreciate but the best things usually do. When you hear the words and I mean hear them its up there with Imagine, praying for time, straight to hell, feel free to add to the list. What I'm trying to say is we never learn what was will always be because as a population we are fools.
My favourite performance of the ones I've watched (on iPlayer didn't go) they sounded fantastic and the song choices were so good. Should have been on the main stage instead of Lewis capaldi really.
Nothing against Lewis just his music doesn't really have much main stage energy does it
They are nowhere near as popular as him now though, as much as I prefer them, that's not realistic
@@christopherpenny6083 yes suppose you're right I guess they're not playing arena shows in 2023 and he is.
Great lineup of legends this year
I gotta hear some Holy Bible songs if they played any. That record gets the mosh pit opened up
They did Die in the Summertime, Faster and This is Yesterday
@@rax816 Wow, Die in the Summertime is one of my favorites! Deep cut right there
