i can't get the apollo ones in europe because shipping is like $180 ... but i found the exact same 75mm wide caster (150kg load) for €6 ... and €4 shipping from holland rofllmao
@@Boemel holy balls bro! Share the link for everyone else please!
@@TheCrazyCartModChannel when i google search the apollo casters i get like 100s of stores with double wheeled casters that look just like them between €6-14
@@Boemel I googled and am not seeing similar results. It may be because of my location. Can you please share the exact link of the product you bought to help others living on your side of the rock?
@@Boemel you posted that comment 3 times so I removed 2 of them. Got your email as you know.
@@TheCrazyCartModChannel so sorry youtube is going very weird lately
Just bought a standard cart so these videos are awesome!
So happy to help! They are such a blast and we need cheaper alternatives for fun!
Im scratch building a cart, I'm going to steal this Idea 100%!!😁
@@Flyingwigs go for it 🔥
Has anyone thought of 3D printing the caster wheels? I've seen a video on youtube, and I've made my own design based on the one in the video, and 3D printed the wheel the mount thing, but I don't have a crazy cart to put it on.
If I remember correctly, I modeled the wheel based of off the 75mm wide orangutan wheels, and printed it will 87A TPU with 100% infill, if anyone was wondering.
Edit: 18 hours later, I now have one :)
@@JaceN3D I feel like I've seen that exact video. I was very skeptical that it could put up with the forces encountered on some of the surfaces out there. If the stock casters get bent pretty easily, is imagine those would snap rather easily. Just my thoughts though. I think pcbway can 3d print metal though.
how does it ride compare to the long board wheels? I just got my first cart this week and appreciate all the knowledge your sharing with us
@@phiphi-yt the ride is not quite as soft as the longboard wheels, but the physics are the same as the longboard wheels. If you don't care about the cost the longboard wheel is going to be the best experience. But I would definitely still take the double rollerblade wheels over the stock wheels.
Do you have any ideas for a cheap braking system? Thank you so much for your videos!
@@mackskroll15 I'm still looking into it. I'll make a video if I figure it out. In the meantime: the discount shoe section at Walmart 🤣
Hey guess what? I'm looking into brakes and it looks like you can buy a hub that uses a band style brake. I think I might just do that and make a video about it. I'll add the part to the google doc right now though so you can check it out!
@@TheCrazyCartModChannel yes please and a installation vid
Is there an alternative that doesnt need adjusting and cutting?
@@menameispat9761 You can always go the taxi garage route if you aren't up to it. But for me, it's well, WELL worth the trade off.
I have one set of casters left that I haven't drilled out yet and I'm going to see if I can just Hammer that rivet out of the middle and make it even easier for people.
The casters in this video are by far the easiest DIY alternative to taxi garage I've seen. The only thing required is to remove that rivet in middle. Then you just slap the wheels in with the old spacers.
Which wheels and casters are these? Also, is there a link for them?
@@menameispat9761 check the description and you'll see the Google doc 👍
@Francisco-Danconia I'm confused, are these apollo casters? Also, what wheels are they?
Hey i have ordered them and they have just arrived and it doesnt fit the stock caster any solution please
@@The_Fearer you must watch my other caster video for the way to make it fit. This video was only meant as an update for a slightly cheaper way to do it.
@@TheCrazyCartModChannelbut i dont have the apollo casters
If there is any apollo casters alternate from amazon please inform me
@@The_Fearer 1) why didn't you order from Apollo?
2) what casters did you actually order? What website?
@@TheCrazyCartModChannel i didnt order cuz apollo dont ship to my location
Yo bro the link in your bio doesn't work anymore. Can you fix that so I can send you a email?
@@jeffz9287 everyone has been using the Google doc link in the description of the videos I think. I'll look into it. I was on the doc last night editing it and saw someone else on, so that's weird. But yeah you can reach me at email.mule777@gmail.com
I just checked on my computer at home and the link in the about me section totally works, you just have to copy and paste. Also my email shows up in the email section too, I don't know what is going on for you sorry.
Just go in the main vid of the crazy cart and go to the description
