I would love to work in this industry I was surprised to find out it was in Bergen am here at the moment great video really interesting and educational if you would like someone with experience in aquaponics/fish breeding please reply 😁
If the protein is the same why not harvest wild salmon in more terminal areas? Allow the biomass to feed the wild salmon rather than being extracted in offshore "fisheries?"
Look at the images of the salmon in the pen at 10:39. The scales are broken and there is dorsal fin damage. These fish are not healthy. I will NEVER eat another piece of farmed raised salmon unless I am convinced they are safe to eat. Unfortunately the majority of salmon consumed comes from fish farms that are way more negligent in their systems of raising salmon in pens. Many Norwegian fish farms use very toxic chemicals to keep the pens "healthy". I must admit the farmed raised salmon looks and often tastes good. I have not eaten a piece of farm raised salmon in 8 years after learning how many salmon farms have disgusting practices. I personally promote the elimination of dams that have interfered with natural salmon spawning.
hate to break it to you but that sequence is entirely CG.
@@mehdim no it is not.
Everyone knows that wild fish is better than farmed fish. I always choose wild fish over farmed fish.
