Gen Alpha Words Banned In The Classroom?

GEN ALPHA LANGUAGE
You've probably heard what's been labelled "Gen Alpha slang" a bit lately, especially if you're a Gen Alpha school student or a teacher or parent. And now, it looks like some schools have had enough of it. See, a few posts have started popping off on social media that are supposedly signs up in classrooms declaring the words banned and it's sparked a bit of a discussion. You see, some people reckon all these words are nothing more than gibberish and just ruining people's vocabulary. Others say teachers and parents would've had similar slang when they were kids and we should just let everybody have a bit of fun.

US vice-president Kamala Harris has officially accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president. In what was probably the biggest speech of her career so far, Ms Harris called for a united America.

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken a UA-cam record! The soccer legend, who posted his very first UA-cam video on Wednesday, became the fastest channel to hit 1 million subscribers and it's only skyrocketed from there, he now has about 28 million and counting!

SEA LIONS
First up, to the US where hundreds of sea lions have taken over San Carlos Beach in California. Most of these guys are males, migrating to find food, but why they all chose this beach in particular, well, nobody's quite sure. Locals say this is the biggest group of sea lions they've ever seen here.

Now it's time to meet Esperance. Yep! Almost every centimetre of her body has been inked, including her eyes and mouth, and yes, that is a world record. Three, actually.

And finally, to the Air Guitar World Championships in Finland! These are the semi finals, with the winners to battle it out in the final heat. This comp's been going every year since 1996.
