- Hey Budheads,
This vlog Gear Profile is about my transition into a leaner, meaner, quicker setup guitar pedal board. You may have already enjoyed my unboxing videos for a couple of these pedals, and this was what all those videos were leading up to. However, I didn't realize it was going to be such a headache with the power situation. Not having enough velcro was one thing, but the power situation was really challenging. Anyways, I found a solution, but not necessarily the one I wanted. Nonetheless, if you got any ideas, then please hit me up in the comments below. I figure there's an answer out there.
Thanks for watching. I'd appreciate a subscribe, comment and/or like. Take care!
JB

I understand your feelings about pedals and pedal boards. I had a big SKB one a long time ago that I thought was going to make things easy…long story short, it just presented new challenges.
I hope the new set up serves you well and is good to gig with. Post an update after a couple of gigs.
They can get in the way, man. That's for sure.
Dual Lock is the way. I have a little board that I have used with a max of 7-9 pedals tops. Looks crazy clean and is wildly versatile. You'll find that the Power Supply makes a big difference, cabling, etc. Building a board to suit your needs is pretty darn easy too, if you take that route. My board can be held in one hand and hits every sound you could want. I am all about portability and reducing the gear load! Best of luck on your pedal board questing :P
Thanks, man! Yeah I'm very pleased so far with this heavy duty Velcro, so far. I agree - I'm really just want something easy to grab to take to practices and gigs. Tired of hauling the boat-anchor of a holey board that I have. Might still keep the holey board for a permanent home rig, but it's just too big and bulky to be throwing in and out of a road load. Cheers!

It never fails when I’m trying to talk to UA-cam… she’s got to interject.
Dharma!
You know I could have given you some super sticky Velcro. And before putting any kind of sticky thing down you should always wipe down with rubbing alcohol.

Good tips, ma!
