I’ve played live with stratus for about a year now and I love it! (I midi control mine) super versatile for all kinds of circumstances and genre of music PS there is also a live mode to turn on and off individual effects within one preset
@@bagazheful for one it’s way cheaper than a stomp, it’s quite a bit smaller than one as well, and it was something different. I’m someone that likes to find petals that not everyone else has on their board. No, it isn’t stereo but I use it for my always on overdrive (Daily Driver) and catch all modulation like chorus, vibrato, and Tremelo. On top of all that there’s not much menu diving other than pulling my phone out of my back pocket real quick, changing some settings and hitting save!
I really, REALLY hope you watched the whole Josh Scott (JHS) response to your video about pedal companies ripping consumers off. I love so much of what you do, but that video was so uncalled for and not at all researched or even thought out that I was very disappointed. So much was mis-represented and so many of your followers probably dais 'oh, yeah... John must be right' that it was really unfair to all the hard working people in that industry. I hope you're man enough to issue an apology, not only on line, but to Josh himself.
It looks like good approach with a lot of potential. What happens on a live gig, you forgot your phone, and you have to adjust some tones? I always like a well-designed physical UI, and great sounding Software. Once Loopers are mentioned, I always have to ask does it include "auto-sensing" so it can be armed to start recording when the playing starts, or does a switch have to be pressed to start recording, and after a loop is recorded with a particular Preset, can a second loop be recorded on top of it using a Preset with a different sound and hear both "different" sounds?
Most of the different controls are available via Live and Preset Mode; and we’re working on a way to control effect knobs with MIDI as well! If you’re hooked up to a MIDI controller, you can control the looper with MIDI and ALSO swap to different presets in the middle of your loop for different layers of sounds 😄
@@officialchaosaudio Excellent. Good luck with your product. It looks to have a number of practical advantages while leveraging software flexibility and power.
Thanks for the demo. Interesting product, but limited for me because it's mono only, and not open to standard such as VST, AU or AAX, and to me, standardisation makes the beauty and strength of plug-ins.
Soon you’ll be able to load your own amp models with AIDA-X, very similar to ToneX, for no extra charge! Always working to make Stratus more and more all-in-one 😃
All of the presets in Preset Mode are entirely accessible without the mobile app connected! So you can have immediate hands-free access to 14 entirely different chains during live performance 😄
Interesting but I'm wary of things that rely on phone apps for major features, in this case the user interface. It means that we have to trust the manufacturer to support the app to keep our device usable. I've already fallen foul of this with Line 6 ceasing support of a UI app such that it's no longer available from the application store and so when I had to replace my phone I could not install it which left me with a useless device that I can't even sell because nobody else can use it.
Not easy keeping up with gear...I remember the Stratus's release back in November 2022. The compact, all-in-one pedal for beginners..although a great pedal for anyone especially for home use. . Yes! The Preset Mode that JNC demoed is entirely hands-free and is an easy way to swap between A/B pairs of up to 14 different presets without the app. And it's all color-coded. 🙂
Did you say the coast? Oh and then the complete cost with a midi foot board and the plugins one wants. and then compare to one of the larger foot print multieffects for foot print and cost.
